I came here to look for sequin fabric (the kind that has pailletes) & couldn’t find any at this store. I had expected to find a version of Mood Fabrics (the place that is frequently featured on Project Runway) only I was disappointed when I came to Jackman’s. The selection is okay. The staff was very helpful. There is a great variety of home décor fabrics. If you are quilting, this is the place to shop. They have sewing machines & sewing classes, which I might partake in the near future. If you are looking for fabric to sew clothes, I would suggest going to Jo-Ann’s Fabrics instead of coming here.

This place is a little more on the expensive side for fabric, but if you’re looking for some higher end designer fabrics for quilting, this is the place to come. They carry Moda fabrics. My favorite in particular is Kate Spain’s Fandango. I had a few questions for the woman who was working behind the counter at Jackmans. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. She told me they have a quilting «show and tell» at 1pm certain weekdays that are free and you are welcome to bring in what you have and ask questions. Much cheaper than the classes they offer.
