My wife purchased a pair of Versace frames and lenses from lenscrafters in the mall end of 2013. The paint has been slowly peeling off since may. I called the manager and he refused to help in any way. So sad… People who wear glasses are repeat customers if you stand behind your product and offer assistance. We will be going somewhere else for our family eyewear. Be warned, they do not stand behind their eye wear. We recently went to Sam’s Club and they were very helpful and stand behind their product. The frames they offered were all a lot less expensive that lenscrafters as well.

This was my second experience with this location and the first time was a much better experience than my second for sure. Went in for my annual exam to see if my prescription had changed and after taking the eye glasses exam the Dr. tells me that it did not change so I wanted to order some contact lenses and I was told that she wouldn’t order them until I paid another $ 89 for a contact lens exam… Now I don’t understand one how if my prescription didn’t change why would I have to pay another $ 89? OK so I pay the $ 89 because she tells me that she needs to make sure the«fit» will be OK and with the exam you get to try several different kinds of lenses. OK I buy into this process and as I get my bag and the lenses she has me «trying» are the exact ones that I had been wearing so being confused I tell her that I already know these are OK because they are the exact ones I was wearing and I am told that she will order 3 other kinds for me to try out and see if I like them or not and I said ok but now its 3 weeks later and I have never been given any other«trial» lenses and I keep calling but still nothing. I feel I was lied to just to pay the $ 89 and I will never be back to this place again.

I took my middle son in for glasses. Through research on the Web, I determined that a lot of the solo practitioner optometerists are a we bit out there. Many do not take my insurance. Those that do stock«birth control frames». You know the type you put on and know you are not gonna get any! So I went to Lenscrafters in the mall. I had the lowest of expectations. They took appointments on a Sunday. Made one for 4pm on a wait for it… Sunday. They said the glasses would be done on the same day about an hour after the appointment. They lied to me. We showed up for the appointment at 3:45 and they took him right in. The technician helped me overcome some resistance to a child pair of frames that were too small for my man-child. He then chose a pair of nearly identical adult cool Ray ban frames. The glasses were done in 48 minutes! The original retail price was $ 657 that was reduced to $ 114 for exam and frames after insurance AND discounts. I love this place!!! You save me $ 543 bones before taxes and I am orgasmic. Oh yeah, the man-child loves his glasses.
