I wasn’t terribly thrilled with Ross. I plan I giving them another shot, but upon our first visit, we were shopping for Special Needs ladies for a chaperoned summer trip. Their plus size availability was dismal. It was mainly work out pants. We had to have those two ladies wait until we went to a different store, like Cato, so we could find them appropriate outfits. My biggest complaint was trying on clothing. As staff, each of us was assigned to two ladies. Because two were plus sized and had nothing to try on, we had three staff members to help four ladies. However, we were absolutely smothered by the staff and security at the dressing rooms. I understand controlling loss. However, because we needed to but three full outfits for each lady and had multiple options for both tops and bottoms, the incredibly strict number of items made this a very difficult trip. We didn’t want to steal anything! We just wanted to compare the blue and black tops! You also couldn’t be IN the dressing room without a number on a card saying how many items you have. We were assisting ladies with special needs that needed help putting certain things on or whatnot. Because they were changing it was difficult to switch pieces in and out to keep our number of items IN the dressing room to six or less, and by insisting we have the«number of items» card while in the dressing room, we finally had to have all three staff with one lady at a time. We couldn’t take the«0» «number of items» card outside of the dressing room with us, so when I ventured out into the store for a replacement top and came back to a totally different attendant, I got to explain myself and the situation all over again. The folks at Burlington also preferred six items or less but understood what we were doing AND the situation and worked with us. They were present but not hovering, overbearing, and difficult to work with. Stopping at Ross added an extra hour and a half to our trip merely because of the hoop jumping in the dressing room.

Super busy since they just opened Saturday. No help in sight and customers out the wazoo… I’d wait a few weeks until the crowds die down. Great prices. I ended up going in to check it out and came out with a toddler chair for $ 59.99. Some of the stuff is super cute. And they carry Juicy Couture. One of my favs.
