What a conflicted review. All of my experience with Cox has been absolutely awful. I have been with them once before and now, after exploring every option, cox is the only provider servicing our new apartment building. So first, I call customer service to see what the best deal for what I needed was. The representative quoted my monthly fee to be 25 $ a month more than the advertised price. So I politely declined and set up my own services online. And I will be paying the advertised price. Now, I chose to pick up my cable box to avoid any shipping issues and I decided to set it up and install it myself since the last time cox sent someone to install it, they left before anything was working and still charged the 100 dollar fee though I had to reinstall it myself. So a woman on the phone told me it would be 30 dollars to do it myself.(Now this phone call took over 45 minutes and she gave me incorrect information). When I arrived to this Cox store, a wonderful sales representative informed me the woman on the phone was incorrect and it would be 60 dollars. But he acknowledged The mistake and only charged me 30 dollars as previously stated. He told me someone would be out the following Monday before 7 to connect us. They were a no show. After a 30+ minute phone call they said they would send someone before 8.30… No show. After over 1 hour on the phone, we have a new connection time at 5 Tonight., anyone else get the feeling I shouldn’t bother taking the time off work??? But I’ll be here, alone with my dog I’m sure. I would give the service of Cox itself NOSTARS If possible but this store gets 2 because of the understanding representative of whom I wished I remembered The name.
