This place is great — one time I brought my car in with a funny noise, they took it for a drive, inspected it and couldn’t find anything wrong, and they didn’t charge me! The guy at my dealership meanwhile made a snide remark that it costs $ 50 to open the hood. I did not walk over to my car and pop the hood for him, instead I simply took it to Drellishak’s.

Great family that always performs solid work at a fair price. My grandfather Sam B. would never go to another shop, and for good reason.

We decided to take our SUV to Drellishak’s(specifically the one on Lorain in Fairview Park) based on a recommendation from a local towing company and the stellar reviews on ‘Angies List’. We have been there twice so far, and were not dissapointed. The auto technicians are top-notch, and the work is assessed and done honestly and priced fairly. Others I have spoken to about local auto repair shops have all shared the same good things to say about Drellishak’s. Obviously, this company is built on high, trustworthy reputation, and it shows. I have finally found an auto service center that I can trust and feel good about! Thank you Drellishak’s!

My family could swear by this place but I have experiences that make me a little weary of this over packed family run business. First of all, it takes about a week for you to get your vehicle in for an appointment and even then it becomes first come, first serve, meaning, if they have(2) 8am appointments, you’d better make sure you get there first. The guys that work there seem like they could care less about your vehicle. The walk around cocky and seemingly wasting time«chewing the fat with the boys». The management is nice, I’ll give them that and there prices are lower than most places, ONLY if you’ve been going there for a while. The workmanship is also lower quality than most places. I found that out the hard way after spending $ 800 on a new differential gear set only to find out they murdered my pinion seal and didn’t use a new one, they slammed the old one back in causing it to leak fluid later down the line. My family still goes there because they’re old school and believe that they have a «good» relationship and I still shop around. You’ll also find that Drellishak’s takes awhile to fix your vehicle and depending on which mechanic you get is what makes the difference. They have another branch in Rocky River, haven’t tried them and probably won’t but as a consumer I would not recommend Drellishak’s Auto Repair. I’ve spent over $ 3,000 lifetime at Drellishak’s and have only been mildly satisfied. They will charge you $ 250 for a simple fix that you can find on the Internet that will cost you $ 5. That’s a shame that they take advantage. Educate yourself.
