All I’ve done was go over there and have them check my transmission out. They went above and beyond the call. They gave me their honest opinion and charged me nothing for about two hours of labor, and I feel sure they gave me the right assessment and advice.

I’m updating this review to reflect my overall experience with these gentlemen. The transfer case on my truck started leaking fluid the other day (less than a year later) so I took it to a Chevy dealership that I use for my routine work. Turns out an old seal was used in the repair job and they also used the wrong fluid in the transfer case. While the transfer case has been working fine, I am revising my star rating to reflect that their work didn’t last a year.

Honest transmission shop. Brought my car to them when the car dealer mechanics said they could not fix it– they in fact said I needed a new transmission! Fairview found the problem to be just the clutch and fixed it right away. They were highly recommended by other mechanics from around town, and I would bring my car to them again!
