This place is sooo cool! The grounds are beautiful and the shows are always top notch. Fantastic performers and entertaining productions. Come early and get some dinner before the show. The setting is just magical making this an experience way too good to miss out on.

There are places that are somehow naturally imbued with magic, you find them on your own sometimes, stumbling into a clearing in the woods, something in the air just changes and you feel peaceful, and a little in awe of your surroundings. Sometimes, however, you’re led to the magic spot by Cinderella. Yes, that’s how we found this little pocket of paradise, through my daughter’s undying love of Cinderella and the fact that the theater company was putting on a version of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella out at the Snoqualmie Falls Forest Theater. We drove out and kept thinking it’s around this … no, further. Eventually, off the freeway, down the highway, down the dirt road and then to the edge of the woods and we arrived to find it completely enchanting. The grounds are beautiful, nothing super fancy, but the forest doesn’t need bedazzling, it’s so gorgeous there on it’s own, you need only clear a bit away to walk so you can enjoy it. There’s a play structure for kids, a box office and restrooms and plenty of grassy areas to sit and enjoy the sun. Then you walk down the crooked, rooted path to find the theater with steeply stacked stadium seats, looking down onto the quaint stage flanked with huge stately trees. They had popcorn and sodas, water and coffee, candy and more to munch on, or if you’re so inclined, you can bring your own. The play was great but the theater and grounds were the real magic for me.
