My daughter purchased her wedding gown through Party Dress Express, and received free alterations through Alterations Express. I and and the wedding party also chose to have our alterations done there. What they were able todo with our gowns was nothing short of a miracle. My daughter’s very intricate gown was at least two sizes too big, but when Jen was finished no one would have ever known. Not only is their work incredible, their prices are extraordinarily reasonable. Though the shop is not nearby for me, I will undoubtedly return to them for any future alterations.

I walked in to the woman behind the desk going back and forth with a customer. I didn’t think anything of it. I wanted to have some clothes taken in and was told I needed an appointment, fine. I came back at my scheduled appointment time and felt a little rushed. I was told it would be about a week and a half for these alterations (simple tops and one pair of pants). The day I’m suppose to pick them up, I get a phone call and I’m told only my pants are done but none of my tops were even started. Then I was told that bridal things get done first and when there is extra time other garments get done. At least they didn’t charge me for the pants.

Gen was an absolute godsend. Without even asking how complicated the alterations might be, she took my dress just a couple days before I left for my destination wedding and fixed another tailor’s poorly done, uneven hem. She was so sweet throughout the process and made sure that I felt comfortable in the dress. I can’t stress enough how professional and kind Gen was. I will return to her with any clothing that I need altered and I am completely confident in her abilities.

This place is the best. Jen is so nice and extremely talented. I had an idea to tuen my mothers wedding gown into a christening gown and Jen seemed to know just the right thing to do with it. The christening gown is so beautiful and exactly what I wanted. This same place did alterations on my daughter’s wedding gown. I recommend her to anyone that needs alterations.

Alterations Express took my clearance rack wedding dress, which needed some serious TLC (had to be taken in and cleaned up from a series of make-​up stains another bride got on it when trying it on) and turned it into something out of a fashion magazine. My dress fit like a glove when Anna was done with it and she charged me a very affordable price for all the work she did. Anna also does alterations work for full-​priced gowns from Party Dress Express (also in the Tower Mill) and has years of experience in her field– I would recommend her to anyone wanting their wedding dress to be treated as specially as it deserves.
