Best tacos in North County, hands down! Years ago they used to be located in Vista. They had to move to Fallbrook and I am still willing to go for a drive to get to them. The carne asada tacos, adobada tacos, and their carne asada burritos are my favorite.

I love this taco truck. One of the best tacos hands down. They have tripa and cabeza tacos very hard to find in this town. Def my favorite tacos!

I seriously think that Fallbrook residents have very low standar ds when it comes to food. After reading the reviews I decided to look for this food truck which is on avoation rd. I was very very disappointed by the carne asada tacos, they lacked flavor and they were not grilled they were stove cooked! The cabeza tacos were not too bad but the meat was cold like it had been taken out of the fridge. If you want better tacos in Fallbrook you should got to Northgate over the weekend in the AM they have actual grilled tacos, if you want good stove cooked tacos try las brisas!

The truck is now across the street from the shell going out of town towards the 15/Temecula. Close to where Fallbrook pizza co. used to be.

Everyone that finds Mexican food they like believes it’s THE Mexican place to go to. I can say for a fact, this is that place for all of North County. Having been eating from this food truck for years, I have yet to find a place come close to matching traditional home-cooked Mexican food FROM Mexico(in NC, that is). They park right by the Happy Jug Liquer, in the same lot. — Cheap Eats at $ 1.50 a Taco — Fast Cook — Flavorful, Original Salsa — Cash Only — Open from 7pm to Around 11pm — Chapurrado! — Jarritos! I will drive up here any time I get a craving for a good burrito or taco. It can get a bit pricey when you order a burrito and and 5 tacos(like I often do) and then still have to order for my wife. The tacos are just not made like this anywhere else. The asada can be fatty at times but the cesos, al pastor and cabeza are always right on-point. If you need a good finisher, give the Chapurrado a try, especially on a cold day. Warm, chocolate goodness. For you non-Spanish speakers, they have a translation on their ordering window. It is hilarious to see my dad walk up amongst the Fallbrook Hispanics eating their food and mumble«tres cabezas please». I don’t think he even knows how much they cost, he just hands money over and waits for his food. I never regret the drive, always leave full and wish I could have them park in front of my house when my mother-in-law is not cooking.
