Comfort Inn Near Fallon Naval Air Station

Have stayed here many times for work. Normally without any issues. This stay was cut short. Bed bug infestation. Travel a lot for business and have never had misfortune of dealing with those nasty creatures. kept finding itchy welts and the woke up in middle of the night to find one feasting on my private parts. then found more in the bedding after having looked repeatedly. Packed up and left middle of night. The manager did call me later that morning and offered to do what he could to make up for it. However that is one of those things that only has to happen one time. Like they say one and done. Won’t be staying there again, ever. Sleep in car first. Spent next day washing clothes, fumigating bags, and car. Only things like bad housekeeping, disrepair of building systems and pest infestations like this will move a hotel onto my Do Not Stay List. Sad to say this Comfort Inn is now on that list.

Fallon is in the middle of no where. Didn’t expect much. Everything was awesome. Including service from the night clerk Joe. Room was perfect. Loved the difference size pillows. Breakfast was great. Service attendant making sure everything is available. Wished this comfort inn was closer to my house. Room had mini fridge, iron and hair dryer plus coffee pot. I would recommend moving it to top of the mini fridge. Bathroom is no place for coffee. Would highly recommend this hotel. Plan to make this my regular stop when in the area.

we were visiting NAS Fallon for a few days, to see our son. Tremendous variation in room prices between the several motels. This one was at the lower end. Rooms were good sized, Clean. Our refrigerator was excellent and microwave worked well. large TV with lots of channel choices.
Cookies in the lobby every evening went over very well with our kids. Excellent included breakfast that changed daily. Both hot and cold choices. Coffee is typical (not Starbucks)
Free wifi worked well. you’re reading this ;-) right?
Pool& spa were clean, friendly staff.

We came in super late at night, they had the best prices in town, we were so happy to find large clean rooms, super helpful friendly staff, great breakfast the next morning.

They were out of «nonsmoking» rooms. Stayed in a room that was as comfortable as sleeping in someone’s black lung. Everything was permiated with smoke which could not be clean. Floors of the hallways outside the room were filthy as well. Breakfast was decent but not enough to make up for the ashtray we slept in.

The hotel was surprisingly nice for Fallon. The room was clean and smoke free. The bed was huge, comfortable and the pillows were fluffy. The lady at the front desk was very accommodating and was able to give me a government rate. I will say the normal rate for $ 92 a night seemed a bit pricey for a small town in rural Nevada but I would stay there again.

This Comfort Inn has a very new feel to it. Big flat screen TV’s in every room. WiFi is fast. Rooms are crisp and clean.
The staff at this hotel is very professional and incredibly friendly.
Little things set this apart from other hotels. They have snacks in the lobby. They have hooked me up with breakfast before breakfast time. I was there on Thanksgiving and they put out a huge home cooked meal. This is above and beyond most hotels that I have stayed at. The prices are reasonable and they are close to many restaurants.
