Unilocal’s Five Star description is finally accurate. Woohoo! This *IS* as good as it gets.
I’m in the real estate industry, although in– shall we say– another profession. But I’m gonna sell my own property like a dentist is going to pull his own tooth, you know? Plus, I don’t know squat about buying or selling, except where all the forms are.
DISCLAIMER: I’m not really a big fan of real estate agents, although I have a license myself. There are a few of you– and you know who you are– that I respect and admire. The rest, well, not so much. I have my reasons.
So enter Bob Getto. Didn’t want to use the agency I’m using for property management, because they turned out to be worse than not having one at all. So here is what I llike about Bob Getto…
Got a good recommendation on Bob from my broker, so you know Bob’s respected and liked by other Realtors. This is important, because you will probably end up working with another agent somewhere along the line, on the selling side if you’re buying, or vice versa.
My property was in Fallon, and Bob is from Fallon, lives in Fallon, knows Fallon, and Fallon knows him.
Bob kept in constant contact with me. I don’t mean constant like 4 a.m. phone calls asking, «Hey! How YOU doin?» but any time something happened, I got a call or an email or both. NEVER EVER had ANY trouble getting a hold of him. Never felt like I didn’t know what was going on.
There was a couple of instances where I needed his advice. he gave it, and it was good advice.
There was a couple of times he could have said, «You simpleton! You forgot to initial here!» but he was always calm, polite, and professional. Well, actually more than a couple of times.
This transaction went smoothly, and I will tell you that it was because of the orchestration of one Bob Getto from Fallon, Nevada. I don’t think Bob is one of those flashy guys that drives around a Cadillac with bull horns on it, although I will admit I’ve never seen his car and he might. I get the distinct impression that he is just a hard working, honest guy who is really knowledgeable in his chosen profession.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again, or tell someone to use him.
