Love this place a lot. The restaurant is clean, nice decoration, good service and special this place is the best PHO in town. I can get any Vietnamese foods here. I highly recommend to all family and friends.

Excellent food, best Phở in Eden Center, fast friendly service, and a clean bathroom. Also the owner is actually a Vietnamese radio host and is actually a national celebrity. A double treat.

Decided to try this restaurant out during their 1 yr anniversary 15% off special. The food was good, but like other reviewers have mentioned, they are very stingy on the portion. What I tried Phở Chin Gan $ 10.99 — the portion is actually less than a small bowl at places like Phở 75. However, the taste and quality of the food is above average. The broth tasted great with just the right amount of anise star flavor. Combination rolls $ 10.99 — one of 2 places in DMV that I know of that makes the Nha Trang style dipping sauce for the Nem Nuong Cuon and it was excellent. The hoisin peanut dipping sauce for the Goi Cuon was not as good though… imo, not enough hoisin sauce. Verdict: Good food overall, but majorly overpriced even at the new price point. They give you very little meat, noodles, and broth. It’s like paying $ 7 for a dozen eggs. You may try it once because it’s something new, but you know there are better deals elsewhere. Also, not sure if they really use Kobe beef or not. It didn’t taste any different. They didn’t really say much about what type of beef they use despite the restaurant’s name.

This is my FAVORITE place for phở!!! Best best best phở ever!!! I drive nearly 40 minutes just because of their phở. I order the phở chin with meatballs!!! The broth is legit. However the service is pretty much non-existence. You seat yourself, they’ll take your order and never come back for refills or to check on you. If it wasn’t for the quality of the product, I wouldn’t ever return. Their wait staff is usually hanging out by the bar chatting. I hope they will consider adding customer service.

Phở-only review here. No clue what all the negative reviews are about, I think the phở here is great. Yes it costs more($ 13 for a special bowl with tai/chin/gan), but IMO the broth is so much better than other NoVA phở places. Everyone must be used to the MSG-laden phở broths with flat flavor everywhere else, because Golden Cow, 495, and even Sate all leave me wanting more — and needing a ton of water afterward Tendon is soft, the eye of round is tasty, and the broth is fatty, a sign it’s actually cooked with beef products. Service was fine, the place is clean(if not a bit kitschy to me) but that’s beside the point. As a Viet person, this is closer to phở off the streets of Vietnam than anything else in the area. I’ll be back for sure.

Not impressed. The food was small portion for the price, and tasted just ok. Place is small, but has three big screen tv’s, with one just showcasing their food. Service is not fast, so don’t expect much when coming in.

I heard the advertisement about this restaurant’s cooking not using MSG, therefore I decided to check out their foods. Ordered carryout Kobe spicy noodle and snoodle with deep fires spring roll and lemongrass meat. The service was quick and the wait person was very polite. Foods were ready to pickup about 10 minutes. I have the tasty noodle with spring roll and lemongrass meat. My friend enjoyed the spicy noodle. 4 stars for services and foods.

We decided to check out this new restaurant inside Eden Center. We liked the deco, very modern. Waitors were nice and friendly. There was a limited choice to choose from menu. But we ordered Phở and Pork Chop with rice. I liked how Kobe did to the pork chop, nice flavor, but the portion was so small. Phở is ok.

This place truly sucks. The food is very expensive 30−40% more than the average Phở restaurant. My wife and I always like to eat good and don’t mine playing more for delicious food. I had the Phở special and it hardly has any taste. My wife had the com suon(grill pork over rice) and the favor was way off. You can trust us as we are Vietnamese and know our own food. We both had 2 bites and decided to eat elsewhere. Got up and paid $ 26 and $ 4 tips; $ 30 total. Why still tips? It’s not the waitress fault the cook sucks. Save your money and eat at another restaurant in same shopping center as there are many good one. Thank you!

I visited this place for lunch to see what this restaurant has to offer. Deco– very nice and bright compare to previous restaurant. Modern furnitures with 5 large flat screens. Service– very good. I was greeted and seated right away. My order was taken a few minutes later. The menu is simple so it’s easier to order for first timer. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue Kobe since it’s cold outside and I have a craving for one. The food came out quickly so that’s also a plus. My issue is should I rate on the food alone? While the bun bo hue is very good, the portion is very skimpy compare to the other places. What make it worse is the price. I don’t mind paying more for a good food but the price does not justify the small portion. You will definitely leaving here hungry. That’s a shame since it has so much potential.

Despite the delicious phở, I am giving it three stars, because note, this is a two $ place. After figuring out the menu was a two sided small laminated card on the table with probably no more than a dozen food options, we were then astonished to see the price of each dish. A bowl of phở is $ 14.99! That is almost double what you would pay at most places. As others have noted, it’s not a lot of food for that price. When I come to eat phở, I expect a big bowl of food, especially if I am paying more than $ 8. Nevertheless, my family of four all agreed it was good although there could have been more meat. The place is definitely clean, and when you are done, you pay at the counter. There are six tvs around this restaurant with red accents. It wasn’t particularly loud when we came for lunch, probably around noon. I hope they reconsider the pricing because I don’t know how many people will fork over that much money for a bowl of phở, even if it is awesome.

Overpriced for what they offer($ 15 for a bowl of their ‘special’). The broth is bland. The meat isn’t sliced very consistently. The tendon is too hard. The small bowl is more than half the price and 1⁄5 the size of a regular bowl… which wasn’t communicated very well.

Kobe House is a new restaurant that recently opened up at the Eden Center, replacing Viet Garden. My family and I decided to check out the restaurant for lunch. When I walked in, I instantly noticed that the décor was really modern and clean. Definitely pops with all the red. Something else that also struck my attention was the menu. There is a small menu already sitting at each table and it was so small it looked like a wine or dessert list. It indeed was the actual menu. The menu here is very small and limited so hope you don’t happen to take someone picky to eat here. We ended up ordering the Phở here and the Mi Quang. Typically, Mi Quang is served without a broth, however I’ve only ever had it with broth at other restaurants. This was my first time trying Mi Quang that was a little bit more authentic than the others I’ve tried that did have broth since Kobe House actually served it without broth like Mi Quang is supposed to be like. Wasn’t anything special in my opinion, it was actually rather bland. The Phở however was pretty good but they skimped out on the meat. So if you like your meat, sorry. Honestly, probably wouldn’t return here just because the menu is so small and their menu items are meh.
