Leah McKay

I’ve been lucky enough to have Leah do my make-​up twice now — once for a friend’s wedding a couple of years ago, and now for my own. I have a distinct memory of looking in the mirror after I had my make-​up done for my friend’s wedding; I was taken aback by how absolutely amazing I looked (if I do say so myself). When I got engaged several years later, Leah was the first person I got in touch with after our date was secured; I couldn’t imagine getting married without her!
The day of the wedding, Leah arrived to the hotel room in Baltimore on time and in great spirits; she put me and my bridal party at ease. She made sure to listen to the requests and ideas of the girls in addition to offering advice on what might look best. Not only did everyone look stunning, the make-​up held up beautifully from 9AM until the end of the event (9PM), and best of all, I never felt made up; the products that she uses are so light that it was easy to forget that I was wearing make-​up at all. I wish I could use her every day!

Leah did an excellent, thorough job at my friend’s wedding. She really put my friend at ease and was incredibly meticulous throughout the make-​up process. She was funny and chill and even gave some of our friends some quick tips. (Always lick your lips before taking a sip of a beverage; it creates a natural layer between your lips and the glass!) Leah offers airbrush make-​up, too, which seemed to last an eternity.
