Extremely hungry. Ran in for a quick bite for take-out. It was kind of busy but even with my speciality order, I was in and out in literally 1 ½ minutes. Ridiculously fast. Impressed!

Terrible place with terrible manager. Manager refused to provide for three chicken sandwiches more than one honey mustard saying ‘policy’ and that I have to pay for the sauce. Wrote to McDonald to see what they can do

I’ve never been a huge fan of McDonalds to begin with, but this one certainly doesn’t help its’ cause. Pluses: — They show the calories on the menu now — They have a «sauce bar»(you can pump out your own sauces and they don’t charge you 50 cents for every extra sauce packet– a petty technique that a lot of rival fast food places are now employing). Minuses: — Just about everything else, but specifically: — Measly thin, flavorless fries — Unseasoned, uninspiring burgers

I never thought I would review a fast food joint but a truly terrible experience warrants one. If I could give negative stars, I would but alas, that’s not an option. I had to be up at the ungodly hour of 5 am to take my son to a school event and didn’t particularly feel like making breakfast so to our neighborhood McDonalds we trekked. Upon arrival, we waited at the register — in a totally empty store for five minutes. We were only acknowledged when another gentleman arrived. The manager clearly knew this gentleman and started a conversation with him and proceeded to try and take his order. The other customer pointed out that we were there first. Clearly begrudgingly, the manager took our order, while simultaneously ignoring us and carrying on a conversation with the gentleman. I took a deep breath, paid and proceeded to the soda machines. We went back to the counter and my son and I were quietly discussing the day ahead. I didn’t hear the manager asked me a question until she very rudely and loudly said«excuse me». I answered her question and then confirmed with her that she was the manager. I explained the service received from my point of view. Her response was that she didn’t wait on us because the gentleman was her friend of 20 years and that when I initially walked in, she was working on her book. If I pulled that crap with a customer at my restaurant, I’m pretty sure I’d be fired. This place is an all around fail that has zero to do with the facilities. The staff is consistently rude, gruff and poorly trained. When time permits, and the kid has beaten me down enough, I drive way out of my way to go to another store with better service. No wonder McDonald’s is struggling now a days. It all boils down to rude staff.

As another Unilocaler mentioned — no drive through at this location and as I accidentally learned the entrance is on Leesburg Pike side, not Shreve Rd… That weirdness aside, the interior was ultra stylish and modern! I almost considered dining in.

No drive thru. I was told«we are out of apple pies» so I asked where the next closest McD is located, and she said«fine apple pies ready in 6 minutes». Not going back.

What Mcdonalds does NOT have a drive through? This one! What a waste of space, who wants to walk inside of a Mickey D’s? I know I don’t like to. Don’t step foot in here. The food is not consistent, it gets worst each time. How do you mess up frozen nuggets? Throw that ish in the fryer until it’s crunchy!!! I do love Mickey D’s no matter what anyone says but this location is just not good at all. The employees can be so rude! Go up route 7 to the 24 hour one.

This has to be one of the worst McDonalds in the entire franchise. The floors are cracked, loose, and dirty. Special orders are frequently wrong and the service is usually surly. It doesn’t have a drive through. This is a McDonalds to be avoided. Drive a little and find newer, cleaner stores with much better service.

Cyndy’s Bottom Line: Ubiquitous fast food in a weird setting! Desperate for something quick to eat before going to the grocery store. The service was good and my filet o fish was delicious!!!

No Drive-Thru? At a McDonald’s? Seriously? I remember when I was a kid they used to put a big sign out in front of a place to indicate that it had a drive through. You know, it was a big deal back then. Fast forward 25 years and I feel like they need to put a sign out in front of a place if it *doesn’t* have a Drive-Thru. No point in the reviewing the food here: McDonald’s is a known commodity. But a Mickey D’s without a Drive-Thru is just downright Unamerican. Someone call the Department of Homeland Security, stat!

I hardly ever give 1-star reviews unless I truly believe that it’s what they deserve. This suburban McDs is so poorly managed. The most recent experience at this establishment will be my last. The cashier charged me for an extra drink when I ordered a combo meal that already includes a drink. I pointed to the menu displayed behind her indicating that the combo meal I ordered is a single price which includes a drink. She LIED to me, saying that they didn’t get a chance to update the menu. How ridiculous is that?! False advertisement? Or was it an idiot at the register that couldn’t accept she messed up? First she stated that the prices changed, then when I showed her the receipt with the extra charge for a drink, and showed that the combo meal includes a drink already, she claimed that that’s how the order is normally put in the system. I was like, look lady, this is not my first time ordering a combo meal at a McDs. How many other patrons did she rip off? As the cashier rolled her eyes, the manager came over to check out the commotion. After showing him my point, he opened the register and gave me a dollar back(extra drink was charged $ 1.19 on my credit card). Not wanting to argue anymore over 19 cents, I simply took the dollar and my food and got the heck out of there, never to return. No acknowledgment or apologies for their mistake, no apologies for the inconvenience and hassle. This McDonalds is robbing all their patrons. Also, this McDs does not have prepackaged ketchup and dipping sauces. You actually have to get a container and pump it yourself. I don’t get it, it’s a fast food place, patrons are supposed to be able to get it and go. This on top of the lack of no drive-thru in this suburban McDonald’s! The franchisee seriously needs to review their establishment and look at how badly he is running his business.

Its McDs… what more is there to say? Actually, as long as you get here when its not too busy, its fine. The biggest problem with this place is if you get there when its really busy, the service can be atrocious.

It’s McDonald’s, so nothing too surprising here, except as others have noted after you take a couple laps around the restaurant and realize there’s no drive-thru. City ordinance or something? Probably due for a renovation, but it’s a fast, convenient source of Mickey-D’s.

It’s McDonald’s so you know the deal! What I like about this one is the staff, all very friendly and nice! I wish they had a drive-thru though!

Holy crap — I sometimes wonder how I miss reviewing places so close to my house. This place appears to be a franchise McDonalds and not corporate — many of the menu items do not match what is advertised on TV. The only things I have to say(how much can you really write on a chain fast-food restaurant?) are: 1. It’s right across the street from George Mason High School. What’s even funnier is watching students come in late at night if there is some sort of formal going on. I’ve watched teen romances attempt to take place but usually end in someone’s mother coming to pick them up and clucking at them for wearing such a slutty dress. 2. No drive thru. This part sucks the most. 3. Virginia drivers, limited lines of sight in the parking lot, and a downhill that has a steep grade opening directly into the street. If you’re trying to make a right turn to come in, be careful because the drivers above you will not be able to see your car unless it has a high profile. I’ve almost gotten into three fender benders from this angle. Come late at night — amazingly during the day there is a steady flow of traffic into this location.

Listen, who gives a shit there isn’t a drive-through. The reason I say this are for two very major reasons. 1) This specific place’s hamburgers are very consistently delicious. I know that McDonald’s food is supposed to be consistent throughout the world, but I don’t know how many I’ve commented to myself(deep within my head), «wow, this hamburger always tastes good.» 2) The soft-serve ice cream here is also consistently excellent. Let me explain something to those that don’t know. McDonald’s soft-serve is easily the BEST value for ice cream in the world. That might be a stretch, but I’m sticking to it. It is delicious, creamy and it’s only a friggin’ buck. But you need to make sure that you don’t get the slightly off-white soft-serve! If you do, return that shit! It’s gonna suck, I promise you. It won’t be creamy at all — almost icy. But this McDonald’s doesn’t fail to always have the delicious super-white version of its soft-serve. So get out of your car, burn about 10 calories or whatever, and order some hamburgers and ice cream.

I typically wouldn’t do a review on such a place b/c it’s a huge corporation and typically runs pretty consistent. However, again, there is no Drive thru which is fine, so we went inside to get my fruit & yogurt parfait. Took an extra few minutes just b/c it was packed inside. I got my fruit & yogurt parfait and what was wrong? there was barely any yogurt in it. I need my ratio to be perfect. this one was basically 4:1 fruit to yogurt. it was very obvious that there was way too much fruit than yogurt so when I mixed it around, I felt like I was eating bright pink berry juice. I was soooo disappointed that I actually brought it to the NEXT mcdonald’s(just down the road) and they gave me a new one. This new one… the berries were FROZEN. okay, unlucky fruit & yogurt day and will never surely go here for a yogurt snack anymore!

NODRIVETHRU… Boooo. and the service there isn’t really up to par with the 3 other McD’s I pass by to work… oddly enough… all on the same side of the road.
