«The bottom line is that I’m one of the top agents in the world «is a bold quote from one of her last emails that still resonates in my mind. However I would not recommend Kristy Moore, she was unable to sell my house (despite a fresh $ 690k appraisal and an agreed upon $ 615 k asking price). I was initially lured in to looking at her services by a promise to include house staging at no extra charge by one of her staffers. (that later turned out to be a false promise, and Kristy responded that that staffer was no longer employed).
Moore Realty Services /​Keller Williams Realty Inc will send you a lot of marketing literature for her services and how her Sales to List price ratio of 99.6%, along with her «29» avg days on market will save you lots of money and is superior to all other sales teams (numbers BTW that seem to be contradict to those from industry tracking experts RBI Intel).She will give you an 18 question, questionnaire to ask of other agents you may be considering (but don’t ask her to answer them though) and here on Tulia she states «We get our sellers more money and our buyers better deals than any other team in the area»
But to me results are what counts. After the 1^st two weekend of lower than expected showings (lower than the discount agents before her) I requested we get together to refine our strategy, She was too busy to meet, she said lower your price (ie, e to a 97.5% ratio). I thought what about those recent sales you kept making reference to, the hard to sale houses, the ones you got list or better for, and that sold in only 5 days? I said, ok, if that’s what it takes, ok then lower a $ 690k house from 615,000 to 599,900, but are you going to bring some new ideas and marketing magic to the table with my $ 15k contribution?
Well a couple days later I got my answer, she lowered the price on the MLS and elsewhere on the internet, and 2 hrs later Kristy and her Broker Doris Leadbetter terminated the listing agreement and had her sign removed. She did not appreciate any questioning or perhaps criticism, and to top it all off, she did all from Las Vegas where she was for the week (instead of in DC working to sell my house). So my new agent which seems to have better numbers than Kristy’s (again per RBI), says she would have taken it over at the $ 615 the other agent (Kristy) couldn’t sell it for, but not that the recent history shows 599,900 (a possible waive of interest that got squandered if you ask me) we much start at the 599,900 and go from there.
The moral of the story, don’t piss off Kristy Moore, you might get screwed from Las Vegas without even going there

I dealt with this company both as a buyer and seller. As a buyer the realtor got the seller so Po’d I ended up calling the seller myself to salvage. They wanted to have nothing to do with my agent. I thought perhaps they would do better as listing agent. Kristy had a whiz bang presentation. I went with it. The whiz bang stopped about there. She wanted to sell my house for 15K less than what I thought I could get. I thought I was going to get all this help in preparing my house. I asked her for references to have some work done. None of them panned out. At the end she was asking my for who I had do the work to my house. When I went to sell half the realtors called saying her lock box didn’t work. The staging which she touted so highly consisted of 4 pillows, 2 candles and 2 pansies. This place is a joke. We went with a listing price closer to mine, and it sold for 17K more than what she was going to have me ask. I would have been better off and much richer had I just done everything myself.

I responded to an add for a property that was listed from Kristy More Realty Services, sent a couple of emails, called and left a couple of messages on the office and the cell phone and texted a cell number that was on their site. I never heard from them, instead I seem to have been added to their database and keep receiving emails regarding properties I have no interest in. You’d think that in this market, they would want to contact a serious buyer and help. I guess not.

I highly recommend them! If you are looking for a real estate team who is responsive, market savvy and passionate about finding you the right property then Moore Realty Services is the right choice for you. My husband and I worked with the Moore Realty team to buy our first home during the housing crisis. Since we were purchasing in a down market the search for the right home was time consuming and fruitless. Kristy Moore was patient and provided her expertise on each and every home we visited. Finally we found the perfect home for our family, but the challenges didn’t end there. The purchase of our home was no easy feat and required a lot of involvement from our Realtor. Kristy Moore was steadfast to close the deal and continually followed up with the sellers agent and bank. Finally several months later we were at the closing table with Kristy and received the keys to our new home. It was a pleasure to share this accomplishment with Kristy and team. We couldn’t have picked a more dedicated and professional real estate team to work with!
