Great New Appliance Department!!! We were looking for a new dryer and Stephen was there to help! He was very knowledgable about the machines and helped us find one that met our needs. When we zoned in on the one that we wanted, he even gave us tips on how and where to place the softener and laundry detergent. Steven even told us that they sale laundry detergent there, as well! While he was ringing us up, I listen to the other sales team members and they were very knowledgeable and helpful too. The new appliance section is nice and bright and clean and there are a lot of people to help.

I am a contractor and this is the most convenient Home Depot by far. I use this Home Depot all the time because of its location and prices. I avoid asking for help if at all possible because most of the staff is clueless. While there are a few good employees, most don’t know where anything is located and worse don’t know the basics of construction. I know the store much better than most of their employees, but I’ve been a regular for years. Painfully through work and my personal use I spent over $ 300,000 at this store last year and another $ 100,000 at other Home Depots. The other Home Depot locations weren’t much better and neither is Lowes… But the Falls Church Home Depot is by far the worst. Considering how busy this location always is, it is surprising how inept the staff is. Bad news is they just expanded and have shifted a lot of merchandise around, so I’v got to learn the new locations for a handful of supplies.

It’s always chaos here, especially on the weekend. I shop here regularly because it’s the closest hardware store to me, but it’s rarely a pleasant experience. In December, for example I waited almost 30 minutes to get a key cut. There weren’t that many people in front of me, but the man working the machine was moving extremely slowly. And the garden center is really poorly stocked. I’ve been in multiple times looking for a plant or a pot or potting soil and walked out empty-handed. One time, I even ended up with a house plant that turned out to have a disease. There’s rarely anyone around to help you find things, and the parking lot is a nightmare. Not a fan, but for some reason I keep going there. I guess convenience trumps everything.

Came in to this home depot today around 3 — 4 pm. To buy a cable ties, and went to electrical aisle for it. When arrived to the aisle, I couldnt find the right size, so I asked one of the associates named: Koku to help me find the right size. Unfortunately the size I wanted was not there, So I decided to buy the standard size, then Koku asked me If I need just one or many, I said I only need 1, but the bag has 10 in it. So Koku said I can give you one for free, and gave me 2 cable ties. He was very pleasent and he showed a great customer service. I was really disappointed when I found out they didnt have the right size, but then Koku made my day by helping me in a very friendly way. Thank You Home Depot for hiring people like Koku.

Chaos! I usually come here, but today is super busy! it is very hard to find a parking spot and the X’mas aisle is mobbed like a mother. This is one of the smaller Home Depots in the Arlington — Falls Church area. There is a sign that says they’re going to add a 34,000 square feet expansion. This will just add more traffic and chaos to the mix!

Home Depot never has what I’m looking for. I lived in this area for a number of years and I remember when there was Hechinger and builder’s square in the area, Lowe’s is to far and few to make for good competition so Home Depot doesn’t even have to try to do better. The store is showing age and unorganized, junkie and cluttered appearance.

This store is so hard to deal with. We’ve been three times now and had failures every time. First time was for a vaccine they advertised having, they didn’t, next time to get a range hood, after being sent on a wild goose chase by one employee, we asked someone else and were told they don’t carry them. The third time we found a reel mower online that the store showed having five in stock. They had zero in stock and their reply was«oh, yeah, we don’t update those numbers.»

Good customer service! They have various things. Also military discount. I rent their big van at only $ 19 for 1 hour.

This Home Depot was absolutely awful. I’d been once before, but ran in and ran out. This time, I actually needed help, but couldn’t get it. First, good luck finding someone on the floor. Second, once you do, they probably won’t know how to help you. Third, someone will be paged to the department(hardware, in this case), THREE times, but no one will come. Fourth, a staff member will walk right by you, and when you are talking about how there’s no Internet connection in the store(to the people you are with, no less), yell that you can get service by the check out line. Thanks for turning me into a Lowe’s customer.

Awful service. Self check out attendant took forever and ultimately failed to apply my military discount. When I pointed out the error, he played around on the computer screen pressing the buttons back and forth back and forth. He then told me to go to customer service where the line took another five minute wait. They sent me to three different customer service reps. They couldn’t read the printed receipt. Tried to reprint. Called one manager. Then called another. Then tried to look up the receipt again. Then they called someone else. And tried another computer. And asked someone else. Literally six different people looked at this receipt. Dealt with Dean, Irma, Christina, Vicky and several others. Whhhy. Home Depot. Your customer service stinks.

Cyndy’s Bottom Line: Excellent service from Mickey I ran in to find a plastic end cap piece for blinds. Mickey was so helpful to entertain my quest to find this obscure piece. She went to find a ladder and checked all the boxes high up on the shelf to see if it contained the piece I was looking for. Although she didn’t find the piece she recommended that I contact the manufacturer. Great idea. Thank you so much for your excellent customer service!

Although I’ve been to this Home Depot many times, this review was inspired by a recent visit to the paint counter. The good: they have a huge selection of paint here, and the machine they use to make the shades is pretty awesome. The bad: the customer service here is abysmal. The 5+ employees that were behind the counter did not seem bothered at all that customers were waiting more than 10 minutes to have their orders taken. When an employee finally acknowledged my presence, it really seemed like I was just an inconvenience. When the line had grown to more than 6 customers, an employee came out of nowhere and took all of their orders in less than a minute(why couldn’t any of the other employees have done that?). This section of the store is clearly in need of some direct leadership and customer service training. Two out of five stars for the horrible customer service.

As the years pass by I find myself more in the aisles of Home Depot rather than up-and-center at a bar. Walking in is is very overwhelming, there is aisle after aisle of home improvement tools and unless you are an expert it’s kind of hard to know where to go or what to choose. Help is hard to get, whether you are looking for a product recommendation or if you are are in the paint section. I’ve had some friendly encounters but most of the people you I’ve met have been gruff. I guess I shouldn’t expect that much at a hardware store but whenever I go to the locally-owned shops like Brown’s, I get much more personal service which is priceless when you don’t know what you’re doing! They have a greenhouse area but most of the plants I buy from here don’t last as long as the items I buy from Merrifield Garden Center(although my parents don’t seem to have this problem!). At Christmas time they will give you free pine cuttings which you can turn into wreaths, window decorations or even present toppers!

Always helpful and nice people. Parking can be a pain but the people are quick and helpful. This is my go to Home Depot for simple things like light bulbs and cleaning supplies etc. It helps I know this place and can get in and get what I need and go.
