It was a very clean place. The food was alright and the grilled cheese was cooked well. It took a little while for the food but it was good in the end

Sarabeth’s it ain’t, but it’ll do if you’re really hungry and not very picky. Though we stopped in around brunch time, they said it was ~lunch time~ so we opted for non-breakfast dishes(both times I’ve been here). Their sandwiches and burgers are big but a bit on the bland side(especially the burger), and the fries were consistently saturated with oil. I like me some fat, I really do, but fries should be crispier and not sad and soggy. It’s conveniently located, but unfortunately, that’s about all that it’s going for it. Maybe I’ll change my mind once I try their breakfast menu… ’til next time, Bernie’s… hoping to catch you at brunch.

Had an excellent breakfast here on the restaurant side. Friendly staff and easy with kids

We went there for lunch and we will never go again! The salad greens were brown, the avocado was just dumped on top and most of it was rotten. We ordered on one side and went in and sat as we had done with the previous owner a few years ago. The waitress asked us if we had ordered and we said yes. The man brought it to us in a to go package and we said we didn’t ask for it to be to go. He rolled his eyes, which is definitely wrong, and said do you want me to put it in a plate. We said yes please. He then walked around to the other side and said that we were really pissed off, that if which we did not. Then, before we got our meal, the waitress with the large glasses and very short jean shorts(totally inappropriate), came over and scolded us like we were 2 kids and said next time you have to order from this side if you want to sit. Well there will NOT, be a next time. Totally disgusted with the food and attitude!

So disappointed with the bagels this morning. We ordered two everything bagels with veggie cream cheese to go. When unwrapped we found a bagel with barely any cream cheese. The skim of cream cheese was so thin it did not even cover the bagel. Shame on you Bernies. You may be the only show in town besides Mcdonald, but I will be taking my business to Portland Mr Bagel

The star rating is for the mister bagel side. This place should be renamed Mister no bagel. They honestly never have bagels, I’ll go in there at as early as 9 sometimes and they are out of bagels. Who’s call is it to make so few? Do you guys seriously not have any idea of your daily customer average of how many bagels you’ll need?

My two star rating is ONLY for the mister bagel side of Bernie’s; I have not eaten at the restaurant side enough to give an informed review of that side of the establishment. The Mister Bagel side of Bernie’s Foreside has great food. I’ve never been disappointed with the bagels and breakfast sandwiches I’ve ordered from them. Unfortunately, nothing else is good. First, their customer service is lacking. I admit, I am a strange eater and order sandwiches that are not on the board(toasted bagel with butter, egg whites, spinach and tomato) but I don’t think glaring at me when I’m ordering is appropriate. I always get unpleasant vibes when I’m interacting with their staff. It’s not fun. Second, their food always seems to run out. I’ve left so many times without my sandwich because they are out of bagels or veggies. I’ve also seen handwritten signs on the door that said they closed early because they ran out of bagels– one time it was before 1pm, a few other times it was before noon. One time it was before 11am!!! It seemed like no matter how early I woke up I could never make it(I work nights and can’t really get up and drive to Falmouth before 10am). This is quite frustrating to me since their hours say they are open until 2. Either change your hours or make enough bagels to last until your posted closing time. Lastly, the parking is terrible. If you find a spot in the front of the store you often have to maneuver around other drivers that aren’t paying attention. There have even been times when the front and side parking spots are all taken and I’ve decided to leave and eat elsewhere. Overall, this place makes my favorite personalized breakfast sandwich, but the experience makes me go elsewhere. I stopped going here for bagels in the fall of 2014 and don’t plan to return. Too much of a hassle and lots of wasted time.

The waitress/counter help was the nastiest woman. She had no customer service/people skills. She snapped at me while I was ordering takeout and had the most unpleasant look on her face during the entire encounter. She is a woman in her 50s with blonde hair. I have worked in customer service and no matter how bad a day you are having, you do not treat your customers with disrespect. My recommendation is she be fired for her rude, disrespectful and overall nasty attitude. She needs some etiquette classes and should look for solo work where she does not interact with people. Bottom line, this was the rudest person I have come across and she needs to rethink her actions. Never going back. Zero stars due to the horrible attitude.

As I was reading the previous reviews of Bernie’s I will tell you that I was completely surprised. My wife and my family have been to this little establishment many times and have never been disappointed by the food here. The restaurant is a good mix of home made breakfast and diner style food to some delicious and light fare during the lunch hours. Yesterday, the wife and I dove into a delicious BLT that was both large, fresh and had a layer of fresh green and delicious avacado to top off the BLT. The fries that we got with our sandwiches were hand cut and delicious. The bacon was hearty and the tomatoes were beefy. Now, I know we could have been more adventurous but we were feeling a bit healthier than my mormal rueben sandwich or the eggs benedict that we have had at breakfast time inthe past. The only reason for there not being 5 full orange and white stars was the simple fact that the service could be a little friendlier and inviting but I think that the concept is one that is of a diner feel and they are there to take the orders quick, deliver the delicious food quick and get the next customers into the seats right behind. The bathrooms are always very clean and the restaurant is extrmely tidy and immaculate and you can smell the delicious bagels that they are slinging next door. If you are looking for a quick brunch bite while roaming around the Falmouth area, then stop in here and try this little place, I dont think you will be disappointed.

Bernie’s is a go to for us. With a husband who doesn’t stray far from the classics, and a father who is the same, we like traditional meals for breakfast and brunch when looking for a group spot. It can be very busy in there, which can make a wait for a seat long, but the staff is friendly and attentive. They are consistent, and we very rarely have a poor meal there. After many places who couldn’t thoroughly cook an egg for a benedict, it was great to find a place that could. They don’t always have over easy down, but generally they are well priced, and have good food.

We like Bernie’s for its location and good diner fare. We typically go for breakfast and get at least two orders of their corned beef hash. Service is generally good, and has good size portions.

I had seen the sign a few times and decided to go in. It is seat yourself which is simple enough, but my boyfriend and I waited there for 5 minutes because none of the staff pointed out that there were empty tables in the back just out of eyesight. Once we got our menus, we tried to order. They were out of everything we wanted. They didn’t even have chicken fingers. I ended up with an incredibly unsatisfying and bland breakfast burrito. We left feeling like we paid too much for very mediocre food. On the bright side, all of the potato products were delicious.

The food here isn’t awful. It isn’t very good, but it isn’t very bad either. Everything tends to be a little bit too greasy, but it tastes like food. So that’s good. I’ve never actually received the food I have ordered. The first time I came in I ordered one of their burgers, and got a sandwich instead. The second time I ordered a burger and got a different burger. And the last time I ordered a burrito without sour cream, and my girlfriend ordered a burger medium rare, without tomato — my burrito came with sour cream and my girlfriends burger was well done and had two tomatoes on it(another customer had ordered an omelet that came out wrong as well)… So the food isn’t horrible, but the service is atrocious. The only time that I have ever got in and out in under an hour is when I have said I was in a hurry and asked for the check when the food came. Expect to wait. A long time. I’ve given them more than enough chances, I won’t be going back.

We were having our car serviced over at Morong and decided to grab a quick bite to eat in the area. Bernie’s is a small restaurant with a Mister Bagel attached to it, we were going to grab a couple of reubens to-go but the lady at the counter told us that they shut off their frialator… it was like 2pm. We decided to opt for bagel breakfast sandwiches instead on the Mister Bagel side, because who wants to pay the same amount of money for a sandwich with no side? I ordered the egg & cheese with spinach and tomato, the girl at the counter took our order and then explained that the kitchen told her that I could not order spinach and tomato because it was all put away. I ended up leaving with just an egg & cheese breakfast sandwich and a bad taste in my mouth, I will never go back there again. Also, their lox breakfast sandwich is $ 8.99, who on earth wants to spend that kind of money on a bagel with some salmon cream cheese?

Came here for breakfast with a friend and was not disappointed! Food wasn’t anything amazing but pretty good and decently cheap! The atmosphere is friendly, and not too crowded as well! Service could be A LOT better though!

Bernie’s is a pretty average place, but the location is convenient. I recommend going for breakfast, which is pretty good, but not for lunch, which is below average. Overall this place is just average, but we keep going back because of the convenience and fact that there aren’t any other breakfast places nearby.

I’m a sucker for BLT’s my all time favorite sandwich. Today I had a Chicken BLT, it’s now my new favorite, it’s absolutely the best BLT(with or without the chicken) I’ve had in a 25 mile radius. Nice big slices of «real» chicken not the deli kind and fantastic bread just like homemade, a little extra mayo on the side and I’m set for lunch and dinner. It’s an enormous sandwich!

I just had a garlic bagel with chive and garlic cheese. Needless to say I need a breath mint! Totally worth the garlic breath, there is nothing like a mister bagel bagel!
