I wrote a review for Poor Little Rich Girl last fall (
), where I woefully made the realization that I may have outgrown consignment shopping. But that was before I went into this store!
The owner picks out really nice clothes to sell, everything is in great condition, and you can find some real gems if you look through the racks. I almost bought a Laundry little black dress to go to a wedding (damn my buxom bosom!), and a bunch of really nice things to wear to work this summer. Total=$ 15? or something like that.
The biggest fun is the fact that there are full price racks (stuff from $ 20 – 40), and subsequently, she prices it down to 15, 30, 50 and 75% off! The 75% rack? it’s almost like shopping in your friend’s closet: you feel like it’s practically free.
I did NOT outgrow consignment shopping, I just need it to be good, and cheap. And beautiful. Like me.
