Great store, great variety of goods and exceptionally helpful staff… a gem for Falmouth.

My family has owned a place in Falmouth since 1977. I went down this past weekend and stayed in town, purchased 2 Tommy Bahama beach chairs… full price– no discount even late in the season. Upon leaving I noticed one chair did not have a strap which tag list, included padded strap. At $ 50 each… i would like a strap for easy carry. The clerk at the shop did not offer to give me a strap from another chair– refund only. My chair was the last of its kind, but all straps universal.
Customer service not there– going that little extra step for the customer is not important.

This place has everything — they sell everything, they have industry expertise, the staff is friendly, they have free popcorn, and they let the kids feed the rabbit, Bolts.
I go here about once a week. Part of the reason for that is I’m renovating my 1820s house, so the work never ends. I go here for paint (they’ll match any color you have, as best they can), yard/​landscaping tools, plumbing and electrical supply, seasonal items (grilling tools, beach stuff, Christmas lights, you name it), kitchen goods, copies of keys, toys, and… oh yeah, hardware too.
As if all of that isn’t enough, they had the Patriots game on yesterday so I didn’t have to miss any of the action when I was forced to run out to get more caulking and some cabinet hinges.
Take your kids by the storefront windows to see the train set up for the holidays. And if you’re renovating a house, sign up for the ACE rewards program, you’ll save a few bucks every so often.

East Falmouth, MA
This store is a throwback to better times — a time before Wal-​Mart became the shop du jour for penny pinching idiots too shortsighted to see what the chain is doing to communities across America. Anyway, let me step down off of my high horse and tell you why I love this store:
Knowledgable staff, reasonable prices, well-​stocked inventory, great location, easy to comprehend store layout…
