Great burgers and the owners are really friendly. Wish they would move to a better location.

This place sucked. I rather go to the 99… the appitizer flat bread pizza was tiny and so basic for 10 $. The ribs were dry like they have been re cooked over and over. The food was basic very over priced for location in east falmouth across from section 8 apartments and grimey convenient stores.

Good food and cozy atmosphere. Prices were reasonable and good selection of local brews. If I had one complaint it would be the fact we went on a Friday night, only 4 tables were full and it took almost 40 minutes to get a burger and a grilled cheese. I may be back, if they can decrease their ticket times.

I have been here twice and it is becoming our favorite local spot. It’s a perfect family restaurant. Casual atmosphere, good food, great service, fair prices, no crowds. And beer. My picky kids like the margarita pizza. Sandwiches and salads are solid.

Great ambiance. There’s a little bar area when you walk in and I bet it’s super cozy in the fall. All the booths are separated by these wooden dividers so you have some privacy. Oh and the nicest bathroom I’ve ever seen in a place like this. This is not a fair critique, but I’m going to say it anyway — anyone who uses Papyrus typeface for their business should be flogged. Stop that. They’re family owned so I’m sure one of them just did it or they had someone do it as a favour but, ick. Our waitress seemed nice but not very on top of things. When I asked what the seasonal draft on tap was, she loftily pointed to the draft menu section(which I was already pointing at with my finger) and told me all the drafts were listed(which they were, except for the seasonal, which they told you to ask your server for). My beer was brought over by the bartender but the Pepsi didn’t come until we asked our server again, after receiving our food. We started with the hand-dipped beer-battered onion rings($ 8) with chipotle and buttermilk garlic dipping sauce. For dinner we had the baked macaroni and cheese with bacon and a side of brussel sprouts($ 15.50) and the french dip sandwich with a side of sesame noodles($ 10−12ish). We had a really tough time ordering because there were a lot of good options. The food was simply outstanding, we loved everything. The mac n cheese had an excellent bacon/cheese/noodle/crispy top ratio. The waitress recommended the sesame noodles so I gave them a shot, not knowing what to expect. They were a little odd but very tasty, cold with some kind of peanut sauce on them. I also tried a Wachusett Strawberry(don’t remember how much that was), which was interesting. I can’t tell how long they’ve been here but they weren’t very full at 8pm on a Saturday night. That works well for me because we got a table no problem, but they need to get their name out more!

A family owned, friendly, welcoming, and relaxing restaurant. Everyone working there are very nice and polite, and the owner(an older gentleman) went around every table to make sure every customer was happy with their food and service, and having great time there. The menu offered all sorts of food, from soup and salad to ribs, fish & chips, chicken pot pie, burgers… you can find almost everything on their menu. The food is really large in portion, and pretty darn good. Read my full review of this restaurant and food on my food blog, foodlovergirl.

Great neighborhood restaurant. Very good food, good selection of beers on tap. This is a family owned, family run establishment. Recommended.

1st time/last time. It was Saturday June 27th, there were 5 adults and a 2 yo in our party. It was actually pretty quiet when we showed up for our 6:50 reservation. At 730 we asked for bread and were told they can’t give out bread, but that it would be one on our plates when our food comes. A few minutes later we requested the salad for one of the meals be brought out and again we were shut down and told that he would have to wait until they make it and that they won’t make it until they start working on our meals… they had our order in the kitchen for at least 20 minutes at that point… probably longer. At 8:05 pm we asked about our food and the waitress brought another woman over who apologized for the wait but offered no explanation or food. She came back from the kitchen and said the cook said it was going to be another 15 or 20 minutes, which would have been an hour and a half already… he was just about to start our meals! We asked for the check and left. We asked the woman if she knew of any restaurants in the area that actually serve food. Honestly I am very surprised they charged us at all… but they did! On our way home we stopped by Pizza 1 Subs 2 and they promptly saved the night! GREATPIZZA, we even called them for delivery the night we left the Cape.

We were told this was an awesome place to eat and it was for the most part. We ordered a cesear salad and ribs. It took more than 20 minutes to grt the salad. I guess they needed to grow the lettuce. The salad and ribs were phenomenal but when I asked the server if she could split the order of ribs she said no. I asked the manager if she could split a $ 30 rack of ribs and she said the cook wouldn’t but that she would, but didnt! Overall the food made up for everything else but there are better places to eat at.

Wonderful little restaurant. Probably the best Calamari rings I’ve ever had. Even basic dishes taste extraordinary here and it’s so fun that it has little Trivia cards at every table. The waits during the down time aren’t very long but the Trivia cards come in handy during a lunch or dinner rush.

Lived down the street from this place for a year and only went in once. I am seriously regretting that now. This place is very unsuspecting looking but you will be blown away by the food. I went in for breakfast with my girlfriend. She ordered the biscuits and gravy, and I ordered a combo the plate with eggs. I’m not a huge breakfast fan, but these were both great, especially the linguica hash. We ordered a maple pecan Danish after our meal, after our waiter recommended it; it was really fantastic, definitely try one. That brings me to the negative part of this review. The food here is fantastic, five stars in my opinion, but the service is lacking. My girlfriend waitresses, so we were more than polite and patient, but the interactions were very awkward, and he would disappear for long periods of time or forget things. I’m guessing this is a family restaurant, and he was just doing his part; but it needed to be mentioned. Jimmy Brown’s Café is a hidden gem. I would definitely recommend you eat here if you live in the area or are visiting. Fantastic food, and a nice cozy atmosphere. You won’t be disappointed.

We did not find this restuarant on Google. It was recommended by a Café down the street that only serves breakfast and lunch. It was delicious. We had Shrimp and French Onion Soup as appetizers, and Bacon cheeseburgers. Jason was our server. We will definitely recommend AND return. Very good food! In fact, best we have had in Falmouth!

Looks like this place has mostly good reviews so my visit was just a fluke hopefully! Went in on a Sunday morning(it was busy but not CRAZY busy) at 10:30 with a party of 5, left at 12:45. I could go into details but I want to keep it short. Sloooooooow service(waited 20 minutes for drinks), under trained server, and when my brother let the waiter know that the hash he ordered was not on the plate, he said that the chefs said«It should be there.» So my brother got up, took his plate, and walked right back into the kitchen to show them that it was in fact, not on his plate. The food was good though, I’ll give them that!

I’m so happy this place opened up within walking distance of my home– and so bummed that I only discovered it last month! I’ve been three times since then and each time I’ve been thoroughly impressed by the quality of food. The veggie wrap, in particular, is one of the most wonderful things ever! I love their creative side dishes as well, especially their couscous salad. Prices are very reasonable for the area and the service is warm and friendly. Be sure to check this place out. It’s what Applebee’s wishes it could be!

I went here a couple weekends ago and it was great! It’s one of those places there is no real crazy weird items on the menu and from the outside it just looks like casual friendly nice dining. But when the food comes it’s just way better than you expect it to be. My wife got a blt on flatbread(hopefully I’m remembering this right) and the presentation was beautiful, and it just looked delicious(she said it was too). I got philly style steak sandwich and it was absolutely fantastic! It came out super hot with melted cheese on it and just something about it made it way better than I expected. The service was nice, it seemed like he was pretty busy that night but he did a very good job and overall the atmosphere was friendly and inviting. I’ll definitely be coming back here as my wife’s family lives right down the street so it will be a great place to go when we visit. I highly recommend it!

I had medium expectations and was blown away. We were looking for a family restaurant to seat 7; 5 adults and 2 kids all with different tastes. I was in the mood for the Chicken Pot Pie and I took a chance. The crust was amazing and even had little pastry leaves on top; it was filled with lots of veggies, chicken and yummy sauce(gravy). It came with a so tasty biscuit, cranberry chutney style sauce(perfect) and a lovely mixed green salad with my choice of blue cheese dressing. Instead of salad you could have the vegetable of the day or a potato selection. The hamburger also got rave reviews with home made potato chips. Looking forward to going again.

Yummy cinnamon French toast for my breakfast this Sunday! My friend had an egg sandwich which was perfectly cooked. Julie our server was perfect… very friendly! Good thing they have trivia pursuit card on the tables because the kitchen is SLOW. My friend said they just started doing breakfast on Sundays so keep that in mind. Don’t come it you are in a rush… but do if you have some time. Prices are a bit high FYI. On the positive side, everything is homemade. I’m told. Place is very clean! Would love to come back.

We’re from out of town and were welcomed warmly at the bar here in between meal times. Grabbed a salad and artichoke appetizer. Both above average quality but really it was about the exceptionally warm service.
