This company offers water taxis from Falmouth to Oak Bluffs, fishing trip groups for the day. I used this service to return to Falmouth from Oak Bluffs at 4:30am the other morning. It’s about a 30 minute ride. No food, drinks or bathroom on board. I needed to get off island to make a appointment — it’s a odd time to cross but it’s the only game in down at that time.
They are known as the boat who brings over the newspaper at the crack of dawn and run when the steamship is delayed due to bad weather.
They have set times for other water taxi if you rather not use the steamship. Be Careful when sitting below the seat ends are metal– don’t sit on them.
