Delicious! The atmosphere is in the restaurant is great. There’s lots of seating. The menu is large, so it might take a while to order. Just pick out an appetizer to eat while you’re deciding! You won’t regret the steamed Peking raviolis! They’re delicious. We tried the salt and pepper shrimp, which was expertly prepared. The Sunset Avenue sushi roll was a delight. We also had perfectly stir fried udon noodles! Everything we ate tasted like it was prepared by a chef that really knew how to combine flavors. I highly recommend giving Peking Palace a try and stepping outside your usual orders on the menu! There is so much to choose from that it makes sense to try something new each trip. So good.

The reason for 2 stars is because the sushi chef was great. We were seated right away and we’re able to sit at sushi bar. 20 mins before someone came over and that is only because sushi chef went and told someone. Looked like there was one girl bartending and waiting tables. Watched 2 hostesses take care of 4 to-go groups before we even were addressed. The worst part about that was they were just walk-in orders. I don’t care for sushi, but wife and daughter do, which is why we didn’t leave. I ordered rice and chicken fingers and the rice was the worst ever. When I order Chinese food, I don’t expect gourmet, but edible would be good. Saving grace was sushi chef who was great and so nice. Unfortunately, not good enough to get my business again. I live local and my wife lines the sushi, but she will need to go to Homeport from now on because these people don’t care about service.

This place is a fixture! Come for a drink, dinner, a special occasion… Sit at the sushi bar and watch your treat being prepared, or at the bar and let them my you up something special. Pick from Chinese standards like the pu pu platter of expand your horizons with specials like kimchee beef!

I wasn’t too impressed here. The prices were higher than expected and the food was just mediocre. You’re better off getting chinese at Golden Place in Pocasset and for Sushi I’d recommend Asia in Mashpee.

Let me say that I’ve been to plenty of sushi places and know the prices/quality when it comes to these places. Miso soup was not very good. It wasn’t really miso soup at all and was wayyy too salty. They charged me 7.50 for 2 teeny tiny pieces of salmon sashimi. My whole meal in general was way over priced. My meal for an order of miso, rice, and salmon Sashimi was 20 $. I would never come here again, I’d rather drive farther away to Mashpee for more reasonably priced and better food. The interior was nice and the service was fast, but that’s about it.

It was a busy Sunday night that took my wife and me a while to get our seats, but it was totally worth to wait if you’re looking for the best flavorful Chinese food with a nice relaxing atmosphere in the town! Our waiter was very friendly, attentive. We knew he was busy but he still offered us couple great suggestions with honest answers. The«electric lemonade«he recommended was really refreshing on a hot summer night. We had phat tai noodles, imperial couple(spicy shrimp, scallops) and couple of sushis. Everything was so great with a reasonable price. We would definitely come back again !

This place is definately not the best Chinese food in the area. But the menu does cater to big groups(to note there was a group of 8 to our right and a table of 6 ahead of us). And the menu is full of Chinese, Thai, and sushi options! Some cons from our first time eating there: 1) the food came out super quick, Even with the crowd. The appetizers were quite good(spring rolls with peanut sauce and poo poo platter). 2) we found a coupon for $ 8 off a bill of $ 30 or more, which counted even with aalcoholic drinks long as you were paying cash so that was a plus! 3) the location is just at the beginning(or end whichever way you look at it) of Main St. Downtown Falmouth so the location can’t be beat. Some downfalls: 1) Soooooooooo I hate to be THAT person, but: our waiter was sick, clearly sniffling his nose the whole time grabbing our plates And Glasses so that was a bit from the beginning. 2) our waiter didn’t give us any waters we had to ask AFTER our appetizer came out. 3) the entrée’s were kinda blahh not the best Chinese food we’ve ever had for sure. I had the Pad Thai Noodles and he had the Sesame Chicken. Surprisingly the portion for the chicken was pretty small. Normally when we get Chinese food we never finish our plates but this wasn’t the biggest portion we’ve ever seen, for sure. So, to say if you find yourself in downtown falmouth there are quite a few of amazing restaraunts in that area and this place is not one of them unless you are absolutely craving sushi, thai, or Chinese.

Really nice if you want MSG gluten free anything! The shrimp was very fresh(unlike some places I’ve tried recently) and the vegetable variety was excellent. Rice was a bit dry. They added cashews to my lunch special. It was around $ 12. I would say it was a good deal and good quality. I will be back!

Terrible experience. Buffet was overpriced and food was only average at best. Staff was rude. Owners(I think) stand and watch how much food you take. Don’t even think about going back for seconds. Bring you water and tea as if they are doing you a favor. Never going back and I will spread the word about this terrible experience. Not very clean rest room as well.

There aren’t many Chinese food/Japanese restaurants to choose from down here but this place never disappoints and in my opinion is the best In the area. The Chinese food is and the sushi is also very good.

All around great food, drinks, and pretty serviceable service. I have never had a bad dish, drink or experience here. I come here a lot more than my checkins show and not once has anything been below my expectations. A few of the favorites are: Dun Dun noodles. Udon noodles dressed in a nice peanut sauce. An inexpensive tasty treat that is a staple every visit. Spicy tuna roll is always great as is the Red Dragon maki roll. The sashimi has always been fresh and flavorful. I can slurp up gallons of the miso soup, but far and away the dish that keeps me coming back is the Shumai. Hand formed and cooked to order(I say this because every time I order they tell you that it takes 20 mins. Nothing else you order has a caveat like that. When they come out I feel the love that went into them. Maybe I’m a dork but this site is about opinion and mine is the best.) Steamed in a box with a thin bed of cabbage, this particular Shumai is wild and unkempt compared to other places that seem to serve premade, tiny versions. A thick hunk of pork shrouded in a dumpling wrapper and topped with a piece of baby shrimp. Eaten alone or dipped in any sauce you can find, I highly recommend this particular item during any visit. EAT!

New to the Cape from New Haven CT, this was the first Chinese food we’ve had on the Cape. Phone order for take out. Prices seemed a little on the hire side from what I’m used to but for the food, it was well worth it. For us it was a step up from the typical greasy Chinese food, and a step or two down from a PF Changs. Everything tasted very fresh. Would def. recommend. General Tso was different from what i was used too, taste like a higher quality chicken.

Decent food for what it is. I eat there weekly price is middle of the road. Food for the most part if good on occasion it’s been a little neglected over or under cooked. The owner has a habit of not ringing in cash sales just pressed the magic button under the counter to pop the draw open and often gets herself frustrated when customers pay with plastic. Less cash for her not to report. It’s clean inside the restaurant and the service is prompt. I keep going back so it must be good enough to keep bringing me back. Nice large salt water fish tank upon entering the place. Drinks are strong and a little over priced.

The highlight of the meal was most definitely the fortune cookie. I’d like to imagine the kitchen has a big box of salt and MSG, and not much else in the way of spices. Every single vegetable was clearly microwaved from frozen, the meat(we got three dishes, chicken, pork, and beef) looked and tasted exactly the same. The egg rolls were obviously reheated from frozen as well, rather than fried on-site. But by far the lowlight of the meal was the dun dun noodles, which, for all intents and purposes, is a box of spaghetti and peanut butter. I know there are a lot of positive reviews of this place, but the fact is that this was not just the worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten, but the worst meal I can remember having. I would never go back and I’d strongly encourage people to look elsewhere if they feel the need to eat Chinese on the Cape.

Good, fresh Chinese/Thai food… Prices are reasonable too! Service was efficient… And the portions more than enough. The restaurant itself is nice with enough rooms between the tables so that you can easily talk. No complaints!

I pass this place and decided to give it try for lunch while on the Cape for a wedding the next day. The place was quite empty but it was after the lunch time buffet period. I was promptly greeted by nice young lady and seated at the bar. A minute later, server came over to greet me. Reviewed the menu, quite extensive and a variety of items. They had usuals for Chinese, they offered Japanese cuisines, and sushi. I had Peking raviolis and maki roll and dragon roll. All was very delicious and filling. For a drink, traditional scorpion bowl. I had two, both good. Overall, good experience and food. Still a little concern with how slow it was for a Thursday evening, but I saw a few pickup orders go out the door.

Not a great visit. The egg roll was not hot. The general gao’s chicken was different from any I’ve ever had with LOTS of garlic slices. The fried rice was dry. The beef broccoli was pretty good. The service was mediocre at best.

In short, the worst Chinese food experience I’ve ever had. We visited this place on a Sunday night around 9:30pm. First impression was taking a trip down two flights of smelly stairs and then down a couple twists and turns of a hallway to get to the bathroom. Kind of shady. We ordered shrimp and vegetable tempura to start. The batter was way to thick and had almost no flavor. We honestly couldn’t finish it. It just wasn’t good. I’m not sure how you mess up tempura. For dinner we ordered walnut chicken and egg foo yong. The walnut chicken we are used to is deep fried pieces of chicken with a sweet and creamy sauce topped with candied walnuts. This was something completely different which would have been absolutely fine if it was delicious, but it honestly just wasn’t good. It was sauteed chicken with mushrooms, rough cut tomatoes, walnuts, some other vegetables I don’t remember, and a light sauce. I don’t know if I’ve ever had tomatoes in a Chinese dish. Sounds fine but just tasted bland and the little flavor it did have was weird. The egg foo yong would have been fine, but they served it stacked in a bowl and poured the gravy over it all. When it’s served this way the egg gets soaked and soggy from the gravy. Not very appetizing. We ended up taking one bite of each dish, paying our check, and leaving. Needless to say, we won’t be back. It was so disappointing because we were craving good Chinese food and by the time we left every other restaurant was closed. The service was ok; not very graceful, but adequate.
