Well we had a family reunion in Falmouth and my son booked 2 rooms for the weekend. We called to add a room for 1 night for our other son. a few weeks later I called to see if we could put him in for 2 nights but told there were no rooms for friday night. So on Saturday when he checked in he was told he was a no show for the night before. They charged his sister’s credit card for it. They explained its a two night minimum. No where did they tell us that on the phone. We had 2 rooms booked for 2 nights each. When we tried to speak to the manager he was out until Tuesday. No phone calls back from him. We sent a letter still no phone calls back from him. Would never have my family stay there again. Also price was more than what was stated. Awful experience– there are so many nicer places to stay with people who are actually pleasant!

I recently stayed here while training with my job … The room was nice and clean, yes the bathroom was a bit small but it is an inn after all When I checked out the next morning I received a call from the inn telling me that while cleaning the room they found my kindle … Luckily I was only five mins away as I had stopped for coffee It was refreshing to know that even in a small inn such as this one, they take the time to reach out as opposed to just putting it somewhere and waiting for person to call Will definitely make this beautiful quaint inn my place to stay when training down here in the future

I booked with Seaside for the night of ¼/15. The manager, Mark, left me a voicemail at 2:17 pm on that day saying that my card was declined and giving me an arbitrary deadline of 3 pm to call him back and provide payment details. I contacted my credit card company and learned that Mark had entered the expiration or security code incorrectly. I then attempted to call Mark back 7 times from 2:41 to 2:55 pm, eventually leaving a message asking him to call me back by 5 pm to confirm the reservation or I would need to book elsewhere. I never received a callback, either before 5, after 5, or in the following days. However, a couple of days later I received an email from stating that I was being charged for the room! I contacted , and their representative called Mark. Ultimately I was not charged for the room, but no one from Seaside ever contacted me to apologize for the situation. The only reason I can think of for Mark’s behavior is that he didn’t want to take the booking. Perhaps the hotel was empty and he wanted the night off. While I’m relieved that I was not charged, I don’t feel that Seaside handled this situation professionally. Why would you tell someone(at 2:17) to call back by 3 pm and then leave 20 minutes prior? Why would you not contact the person to straighten out the situation and/or apologize?

We recently had the pleasure to stay here on a Saturday evening after a wedding. What a great room. The room had a deck overlooking the waterfront. Management had informed us that there might be some noise from the restaurant below, but we didn’t hear a thing.(Of course, that’s probably because we were downstairs enjoying some great entertainment and beverages at the BBC!) I will definitely be staying here again. What a great time to be able to watch a live band, enjoy some great local beers and then walk up a flight of stairs without having to worry about traveling. Compared to other accommodations I’ve stayed at on the Cape, the price was very inexpensive for a nice room with a deck overlooking the water.

I’m shocked it doesn’t have more exceptional reviews. Really tiny room but so cozy and fun. My husband ran the marathon and it was right on the path. Literally steps from the beach. Customer service is exceptional. Small family operated so not 24 hours service but you can nag the restaurant that shares the property should you have a problem after 8pm. They let us stay past the 11am check out time just because… they’re nice! Rate was very reasonable. Clean and bedbug free! Woohoo!

Stayed at the Seaside Inn this past weekend for two nights with my mom. Every fall, we take a girl’s trip and decided that Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard in October would be beautiful — and we were right! The Seaside Inn was quaint and exactly what we were looking for. It is literally overlooking the water and has a very New England feel to it. The rooms, while a little old, were very spacious(except for the bathroom), clean and comfortable. It was probably the largest hotel room I have ever stayed in! There was a little kitchenette in the room that would be great for a family to keep cereal or other small items. Since we were only there for two nights, we just ate every meal out. The staff was nice and very helpful. You also can’t beat the location. We were able to walk to the Island Queen(ask the staff for a shortcut) as well as across the street to Casino Wharf FX, which had great food and drink. We didn’t check out the restaurant attached to the inn, but it was always crowded so I assume that it was good. The inn was also a short drive to Woods Hole and other spots on the Cape. Overall, the Seaside Inn was the perfect choice for our little getaway. Will definitely stay there again!

Nice little place to stay by the ocean on the edge of Falmouth. We stayed here for a night before hopping on the Island Queen over to Martha’s Vineyard(the dock is maybe just under a mile from here). The inn is quaint and very New England, with the unpainted wooden shingles, but looks to be in good repair. As far as the rooms go, they have one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites; ours was actually more of a carpeted hotel room with an additional bedroom tacked on to it. The unit was clean and each bedroom had a flat-screen TV. There was also a small bathroom with shower and an entry area with a small breakfast table and two chairs. They have their own parking lot, with one space assigned to each room. The rates at Seaside seem very reasonable, even in the high summer season, and they weren’t too full when we went at the end of August. The staff was helpful and friendly, though they aren’t in any great hurry to do anything, as can be expected. Our reservation was found quickly, and check out was quick and easy. All in all a good experience, and I would recommend it. It’s in a residential area, so you do have to trek to Main St(about 1.5 mi) for any stores or attractions.
