I have purchased major appliances from four different «on line» stores, including some from EBay. There is no comparison, Designer Home Surplus has the best, prices, quality, service, and delivery. Many horror stories from the others, but not these guys. Have purchased over $ 10K from them and would recommend to anyone without reservation. Great company to deal with.

I had a very pleasant time buying an under the counter ice machine for my bar. The salesman was very knowledgeable and showed me the difference between several of the brands. Since I live in a different city, they offer free shipping in Texas. I would definitely recommend them. I got an ice machine that fit my needs and my budget with no hassle.

When my cabinet guy gave me the specs for the refrigerator I need for my library, I called John Miller who’ve helped me last time and in about 15m our transaction was done. I can’t say enough about how professional John is. I was amazed that he remembered me and was kind enough to offer a discount on already well priced item for being a loyal customer:). I’m glad I ran across this website. The prices I got came to a $ 1,000 savings for my double oven, cooktop and blower over what my builder quoted. Also the builder quoted a 6 wk delivery time. I got my order from Designer Home Surplus free to my door in less than one week. Personalized service when I called and got good advice on what size blower to purchase. Also was offered open-​box deals for further savings. Thank you!

Just bought a built-​in Viking refrigerator from Marvin McNeil, and we couldn’t be happier. Marvin showed us all of the features of various models we were considering, explained differences and gave us bottom line advice that was very helpful. We will be back to pick up a new range soon!

This is a review solely for the customer service I received from DHS. Emery Wai was fantastic and professional over the phone, and processed my online order so that it would be expedited (apparently ordering over the phone has a quicker turnaround time than online). I have not yet received the purchase so I cannot comment on anything else but the customer service at this time.

I’ve worked with Elite Appliance and Steven Rungaitis four separate times now and always been happy with customer service provided. We are local, so I’ve interacted with Steven face-​to-​face and over the phone to buy. In addition, I’ve been happy with the delivery team and warehouse staff. THANK YOU!

Knowing nothing about appliances, but told by my kitchen designer that I needed a high-​end range and hood, I found that I liked the aesthetics of Capital ranges. I did a quick internet search and stumbled on Designer Home Surplus having the best prices I could find. I ended up talking with John Miller at DHS who indicated they had a discounted open box Capital range and Vent-​a-​hood for sale. He took the time to explain the advantages and why I would be happy with those. So I ordered… The range and hood were delivered and sat in my garage for 2 months before my kitchen remodel was completed. As I went to install, I found out that there were a few missing items from the range. Since it was an open box sale, and 2 months had now passed, I was skeptical that DHS would do something about it — especially since most low cost internet companies focus all their effort on getting the sale, and zero effort on support afterwards. Reluctantly, I sent an email to John at DHS and followed up a day later with a call. To my surprise, John had already talked to the service person, who had contacted Capital and ordered the missing pieces for me. They were arranging for the pieces to be sent directly to me, without cost, and without question. What a great organization that stands by their sales! I love these guys, and would recommend them for all your appliance needs.

I used them for all the appliances in my new house! Each item exceeded my expectations. Andrew gave excellent advice about the benefits and minuses of each item. His knowledge of his product is amazing! Furthermore, nobody can tough them on price! Simply can’t be beat! Congrats on finding them.

I can only say good things about the Customer Service Department! I had been looking for replacement parts for my 18 year old DCS grill for months and finally called this company and was told that yes, the exact parts were available and that I would have them within 3 – 10 days. I received them within 3 business working days and at a very reasonable price I must say. Kevy Cook handled my request from start to finish and I would give her a 10+ in customer service. She has a great attitude and knows how to keep a customer happy by providing excellent communication from start to finish in selling the product needed. I highly recommend this company if you are needing replacement parts for an outdoor DCS grill that you love and don’t want to replace just because a part has worn out and you can’t find it because the model isn’t made anymore. Don’t give up — call this company!

great service from start to finish. got my viking stove, loved the whole process, I created some confusion so had to call them numerous times, each time they were wonderful and patient. My stove is beautiful and could not beat the price, and I tried, no one came close. They hire a sub contractor and they only do drop off delivery to your front door if they can get to it, I was told of this when ordering so it was no problem.

This is my 2^nd and 3^rd purchase of appliances with DHS and Elite. Their people are always so nice, informative and helpful. I have been stressed to the max since the beginning of our Reno, but these folks have made this part of the process absolutely painless. I have recommended them to many of my friends. I’m not at all hesitant about buying on line with this company! Eva, thanks for all your help!

simple transaction. Steven helped me with my new Refrigerator. They will hold it and deliver when i close in 3 weeks. One more item checked off my list.

I purchased a dishwasher from DHS, which arrived very quickly (~1 week). Unfortunately, it was badly dented when it got here and thanks to a delivery snafu (part our fault, part the delivery company’s fault), the delivery company couldn’t be held liable and DHS couldn’t use their insurance to cover it either. DHS made good anyway, sending me a brand new dishwasher in good repair, at no additional cost to me.
I’m giving DHS 5 stars because they went above and beyond to fix a major issue for me. The delivery company they used (R&L), on the other hand, left a lot to be desired. It would be great if DHS would allow customers to pick between a couple of available delivery services rather than choosing a shipper without the customer’s input.
