We built a new home with Our Country Homes and Garden Design was contracted to install sod, trees and shrubs. I had seen several Garden Design sod installs and had specifically requested that the sod joints be tight and sod rolled when complete. When I got to our new homesite around 5PM and saw sod was being installed, (with roughly an 1 ½″ gap between rows of sod I contacted our salesman Eric and he said he would send foreman to look at work that was done. I have a voice mail recording from Eric stating that Garden Designs would make it right. They never did! I have spent $ 2,500 to bring fill in to fill those joints throughout the entire yard, purchased Bermuda grass seed and a lot of water to get things repaired myself. (Lots of wheelbarrow loads of dirt hauled all over the yard.) I would not do business with Garden Design as for one their work is not par and they do not do what they say they are going to do. Worst part of this entire ordeal is that our builder Our Country Homes did nothing. I will never close on another house deal with out holding a 10% escrow until everything is complete to satisfaction. Live and learn! I do have pictures if anyone is interested.

Where is the ‘six star button’?
These guys are absolute professionals, produce a beautiful product and stand behind everything they do and say. Eric Savins worked with us from design to implementation and when there were speedbumps (which there will always be) he was there to go above and beyond. I was kept in the loop as to what was going on and when things were going to happen.
Eric listened to me, took my vision and made suggestions regarding how we tweak the plan to stay in budget and still give us the same look and feel we wanted to achieve. I’m sure I could have spent less or more with other guys, but they provided a superior product at a reasonable price and you couldn’t ask or expect more.
