What is to be expected from a hotel. Nothing fancy just a decent place to lay your head at night. I would recommend it if that’s all you need.

We survived, The Arctic entry smells like a locker room, but it gets better in the lobby. You don’t get enough towels, we had asked for them every night. They shut off the key card room keys every morning so you have to go three or four times to renew the room key, but that doesn’t matter because you can use your key card to slip the doorlock. Also, you can just walk up and ask for a key card for any room in the building, they don’t check your ID. The previous occupants left toothpicks on the floor, which was a little bit alarming. But, good thing no bedbugs. Definitely somewhere I don’t want to stay again.

room had gum on floor we had to cover so are socks didn’t get stuck on it. The carpet had learned burn marks in it. They advertised free WiFi we have a Mac that’s new it works great but they insisted it was our computer and not there Internet. Do not stay here on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give them a zero

The staff is very friendly and the room is relatively decent. But — bring your own pillows! These pillows were so small that two right next two each other just barely went past the halfway point on the bed. They were also very flat. It just made for an incredibly uncomfortable night. The walls were dirty and looked as though they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Breakfast was ok. Waffles, toast, cereal, milk, coffee, juice… what you’d typically find. I just wish some fresh fruit was available. It was all more of «junk» type breakfast stuff with no at least somewhat healthy alternative. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, though. Nothing about the place was terrible that I’d write it off. But I will remember to bring my own pillows next time.

I’m not real sure what to give this place; it really wasn’t as bad as a two, yet not as good as a three. And of course I can’t give two and a half stars, which would be about perfect. The front desk personnel are all very friendly; we walked in on Saturday with no reservation to see if they had anything available. The lady behind the counter was super sweet and helpful and friendly, so that was a big plus. The gentleman who was there later in the evening was also very nice when I couldn’t access the wifi, which is free, so that is a plus! We didn’t actually check out the room until later as we were with relatives but it was definitely roomy. It was one of the biggest hotel rooms I have been in. We forgot to ask for just one bed, so we had a double, which was fine. We were able to put our suitcases and other assorted stuff on the other bed. The beds were comfy, although the pillows were super fluffy and I’m not a fan of those. The shower was adequate; the water pressure was terrible so I wasn’t too happy with that. The carpet was pretty stained and looked like it could definitely use a cleaning, if not just outright replaced. The free breakfast the next morning was fine; they had waffles, pastries, cereal, muffins, toast, juice and coffee and plenty of it, even though we went down about halfway through. If we were in the area I would stay again; it was decent, although a little overpriced for me for what it was. Maybe I’m just cheap but $ 70 for a room that’s just decent is a little high. I decided to give three stars because it was a little above meh. But not by much.
