Only ordered because someone recommended. Not the best pizza. Very basic.

I called to place a order. And apparently there’s no deliveries because of memorial weekend. But I place my order a burger and fries by phone and went to pick it up. I waited 20 min when the place is slow mean while I heard one of their employees are delivering. When the guy told me on the phone there’s no deliveries going out, the service is slow having another man I front of me waiting for a slice a pizza longer than me. When they told him 2 minutes. Slow moving employees. So I better enjoy this burger after waiting for one order…

My friend and I went to the restaurant side for lunch. I ordered a meal that came with a salad, requested no onions die to allergy. Salad came out with onions. I requested another salad, only to have the same salad returned minus the onions. The oils from onion is already soaked into lettuce. Then, my friend was supposed to get stuffed rigatoni along with his dish as the special clearly had said. Nope. While the food was acceptable, the fact that I have an allergy and the deceit of the waitress ruined the experience. And the chef should know the menu and the specials that are offered.

We usually get delivery. Always get the special pie. Consistent and flavorful. We also like the crust. Three stars because they don’t use the highest quality products, but seems to work for us.

I work in the area and eat lunch here all the time. The pizza is great(definitely the best in the area) and the staff is very friendly. The only downside is the seating area is limited for pizza and sandwiches when it gets busy. Sometimes you have to overflow into the main dining area which feels awkward.

Excellent pizza, specialty pizzas are amazing. By far best cheesesteak around! Sometimes there’s a longer wait and it can be pricey, but it’s worth it, especially with the other options around.

My sister-in-law had her daughter Gina’s graduation/18th Birthday party at Tony’s. There were 30 or so of us. The food, the service, the atmosphere, all very good. The wait staff, probably the owner included, worked hard and succeeded at giving all an excellent time. I would highly recommend Tony’s…

Very disappointed with Tony’s and I will never be back. I paid almost $ 12 bucks(yes, I said $ 12 bucks) for 2 cups of disgusting escarole and bean soup and stale bread. There were old brown chunks of garlic floating in it, the broth tasted like dishwater and there were hardly any beans in it. And that was after waiting 20 minutes for them to put it in cups! For $ 12 bucks I could have made my own which I’m sure would have been 100 times better. Do yourself a favor and save the aggravation and money.

Is there any way to give half a star. Over the past few years I’ve seen this place go down the tubes. Lately it seems the quality of the ingredients is lower, the large pie doesn’t look large at all and the counter help could really take some lessons in manners. I rarely hear«Thank you» from any of them and they act like they are doing you a favor waiting on you. Especially the older woman with black hair, she is a rude as they come. One time I saw her reach her finger to the back corner of her mouth to get a piece of food that was stuck right at the cash register. So gross — I was barely able to eat my slices!!! This week was the worst meal ever from Tony’s — the tomato sauce is maybe one step above Franco-American and pasta was awful. Tell me — how can you not even get spaghetti and meatballs right??? I will tell you how — the owners are nowhere to be found now that they have the liquor store across the street and they leave it to the«hired help» to keep the customers happy. This«hired help» who take no pride in the food or have any intimate relationship with what Italian cuisine is and bingo — you got it! Tony’s — The Chef Boyardee of Farmingdale. Another thing, when you order a take-out dinner — they give you this container with what they call a salad in it — mine had brown lettuce, an abundance of red onions that made even the olive taste like a red onion(nice touch!) and to boot they don’t even ask or give you salad dressing with your salad. I guess they think — it’s such a good salad — it doesn’t need dressing. It is time for the owners to take ownership of their business. As of now, all you are in convenient and you seem to be going out of your way to send your long-time customers across the street to your competition. Hmmm.

I am updating my review as of November 2012 The pizza is now more like cardboard. DiGiorno frozen is better. If you don’t believe me order one pie from these guys and bake up a DiGiorno and compare them yourself.

Tony’s pizza was my favorite up until a few years ago when the quality started declining. They still make a decent pie if you are in the area, which hopefully you are not. Because Farmingdale sucks. Bad. Pizza’s ok, though.
