This is a nice quiet spot on Main Street. It’s a good getaway from the younger crowd that is prevalent throughout some of the surrounding bars. The place needs to work on management. Last time I went in, there were too many wines not available. Also, seemed unprofessional(and unappealing) that the servers kept going outside for smokes(actually lowered my rating from 3 to 2 stars after remembering this).

This place was terrible — my husband and I walked in after dinner at another place in town and we were told to sit anywhere. Okay, so we chose a table in the back by the serving area and I used the restroom(which looked like it was decorated from a Michaels) then returned to my husband and looked at the menu. The menu was printed super small and the place smelled like an old cigarette. The décor was also below par. There were old lady curtains and leather couches. But more to the point, no one acknowledged us from when I returned to the table to when we got up and left. This kind of service should not be tolerated and hopefully this was an exception to their typical service. PS — if you are under 30, don’t even bother. It is a 50+ crowd.

I stopped by there one night after work and I have to say the wine was excellent and so was the food. warm atmosphere and a change from the local bar scene.

Wine flight was enjoyable but this is not the place to go for food. The meat/cheese platter is grocery store quality and still expensive. Called requesting a reservation and the woman who answered was very rude! The trio of dips was good but that is about it. Great concept but need to improve their food & knowledge of wines.

A fine addition to the local scene. A really good wine list, big variety of bourbons, a nice selection of tapas, a most friendly staff. Just a great place to spend a laid-back, satisfying evening.

Delicious food, wine, and whiskey. Very reasonable prices. Also, I accidentally unknowingly dropped $ 40 last time I visited. A week later I returned and they had put the money in an envelope and waited to return it to me. There are good people out there and the owner/staff here are some of them. Great happy hour too!

Great little place! Try the Stemmari — a great wine at a nice price! Also loved the baba ghanoush! Will be back to try more soon!

This place is a perfect addition to Farmingdale’s Main Street, and ideal for those who don’t like sports bars! Really cozy and lovely atmosphere, extensive wine and whiskey list, and friendly service. My favorite tapas is the triple dip hummus, but I’ve tried almost every menu item and everything was good.

This is a great little place to grab a drink, but they have some growing to do before they are really excellent. The wine list is extensive, which is great. I’m not a wine aficionado, so I’m happy to take their suggestions. The whiskey list is also pretty thorough and my friends were impressed with the selection. There are a few concerns though. The tapas menu is severely lacking. While I enjoy the good food they have, it’s limited. We really like the dip trio, but they never give enough pita, so we are always begging for more with lots of dip left. 3 of us have shared the dips and enjoyed it. The meatballs were good, but only 3 to a plate. They were also a bit cold and pricey. The olives were yummy, but at $ 6 for a small bowl, you should pass. The meat and cheese plate is okay, but the cheese cubes seemed like they were prepackaged. For what this place is going for, a classy wine bar, they really need to step up their game in the food department to fully realize their potential. The atmosphere is cozy. This isn’t a big bar and there isn’t a lot of room for big groups, which I appreciate when I don’t want a massive crowd. They need to maybe step up service. We waited for awhile without any attention and our glasses were empty. Also, fabric napkins would match the aesthetic instead of dinky paper. Overall, I enjoy this place as a break from a typical bar. I’ll be back and I’m sure as this spot grows, things will get better.

Love this place great scotch and wine selections for all price tiers. And the small plates(tapas) are almost too good. Love the upscale décor, don’t dress like a bum! Service is super friendly and quick. Two nice leather couches for date night. Overall a great place to hangout. They can even host private parties. If i had to nitpick, two things I think would be great are having cloth napkins, as well as MORE pita with the triple dip!!!

Very small selection of «tapas» on the menu. We went here for dinner and left starving. Wine selection was decent but waitstaff was very uninformed about the menu and twice brought us the wrong wine(ordered whites, wound up with reds). We tried the Merlot meatballs. While they probably make the sauce in house, I think the meatballs are frozen. Cheese on the charcuterie looked like it was cut from a block bought at the grocery store and meat came from the deli department. Came with no crackers, bread or accompaniments. While the concept is great, execution is lackluster at best.

Checked this place out for the first time and it was nice. Good wine selection and delicious tapestry menu. I highly recommend the meatballs and the hummus. The place could use some music though.

I visited last Friday night. I was greeted warmly with smiles. The atmosphere was great, yummy food and wine. Plenty of parking, staff was welcoming and friendly. Perfect place for a date night with that someone special or a get together with the girls. I highly recommend giving it a try! Definitely a must!

My friend and I happened upon this place and were very happy we did. Very cosy inside and the service was excellent, Chianti was delicious and paired well with the tapas. We had the warm olive plate, trio of dip(hummus, babaganous, and Turkish eggplant) and the meat and cheese platter. All very good and filling. Next time we want to try the meatballs which we heard were yummy. We ended the meal with chocolate truffles. Can’t wait to go back.

This wine bar is the perfect place to get together with friends or your significant other and enjoy a glass(or two:)) of the wide varieties of delicious wines they offer. The atmosphere is warm and cozy and the appetizers were fresh and yummy that went so well with the wine, such as the pitas with the three Mediterranean dips. I can’t wait to go back! Oh – and you must try the«moo». I think it was called… it was a light and smooth vanilla wine… delicious.

This place is ok. It has a good lounge vibe and a place like this is certainly welcomed on Main street. Friendly staff. The small plates were yummy. My only complaint is that they are a little skimpy on their wine pours in comparison to other wine bars. Also, we were a party of 4 and every time we ordered wine we each had a different amount. At one point I was poured half of what the other people at my table had. At $ 9-$ 12 a glass, this was problematic. I felt like I was sort of wasting my money. Also, the staff didn’t seem to be that knowledgeable about any of the wine. That’s just something I would expect from a wine bar. I’ll probably give it one more try, since it was a pretty cool place.
