Visited today to get wings for my sons birthday gathering. The wings were good. However the waiting, eating area is is need of a lot of cleaning and sprucing up. I am afraid to know what the kitchen looks like! Time to put some profits back into the business. I ordered $ 45 worth of wings and they had the nerve to charge me .50 for a second small container to keep the hot wings separate from the rest of the order. Don’t know if I want to eat there again anytime soon, perhaps a visit from Gordon Ramsey is in order

I think long and hard before giving out any 5 star reviews but my experience w/Wings over Farmingdale was fantastic when I visited this past Saturday. Keep in mind this review is based upon my experience w/ordering their lunch special(boneless wings w/fries and a can of soda) which is $ 8.99 plus tax($ 9.99 plus tax if you get waffle fries). I got the waffle fry version, which came out to $ 10.90 w/tax included. It was my second time here; I had visited once in the past w/a few friends for late night eats and I remember their wings being phenomenal. Was craving boneless wings for lunch this past Saturday and I ordered the lunch special to dine-in when I came. It takes a while for the food to come out because the food is made to order, but it’s certainly worth it. I picked the honey BBQ sauce and waffle fries. When I opened the container, my eyes almost popped out of my head because there was so much food and it looked so good. I ate about half the plate and was already feeling full. The waffle fries were tasty and had a beautiful crunch to them. The boneless wings are basically chicken tenders coated in sauce but they were fantastic. Chicken seemed authentic and not artificial. Nice crunchiness and sooo satisfying. I ate the whole platter and felt I was going to explode. Touching upon the miscellaneous aspects of my visit now… I have to give the girl working the front counter a lot of credit as it seemed she was juggling phone calls and dining in orders at the same time. She spoke rapidly like she was in fast-forward mode but she was efficient and friendly enough. I called a few times before I came and she answered my questions with a good attitude and to the best of her ability, so that was appreciated. She had to shut down a lot of peoples’ Super Bowl orders. The place itself has been noted to be pretty dirty by other reviewers. This is somewhat true and it’s not a luxurious dining in experience but I can somewhat overlook this because the place obviously isn’t trying to attract fine diners. There is ample space to sit down and eat. Definitely would endorse this place as the best wing-spot i’ve found so far on the Island.

A group of my friends ordered out from here for lunch during a get-together in the summer time. It tasted decent, but about 6 – 8 hours later, 5⁄7 of us were sick. After reading some of the reviews on the cleanliness of the place, I am no longer surprised. This was the first time I’ve ever had food poisoning, and I do not care to repeat it, thank you very much. Wings Over, as a chain, is pretty good. Just stay away from this location.

The wings were flavorless aside from the bbq sauce and the fries were old. The service was nice. I didn’t like the one in Albany and I don’t like this one either.

This place has been driven into the ground. Absolutely filthy. Never again. Food is not even close to the price. Way below average.

Just moved to Farmingdale and this place popped up when we were searching Unilocal. We got delivery and it even came early. Best wings I’ve had in a while. We had the bone-in and boneless wings! Both were great.

Loved the wings, they were very big but I found hair in the French fries. Had the BBQ wings.

Wings over Farmingdale is one of my favorite places to get wings in this area. I usually come her for their lunch special. You get a ½ pound of boneless wings in your choice of wing sauce, served with fries, side of ranch or bleu cheese, and a drink for about $ 8.99. I love that they give you wings by weight here, so no matter what, you always get the same amount of food. They can’t do one over on you by giving you small wings for example. The boneless wings pretty much tenders, but they’re very meaty and fresh. I know they have bone-in wings as well, just not for the lunch special. I don’t mind this though. The lunch special is overall a great size, I can never finish it so I always have leftovers for the next day. For their sauces, I’ve tried the Cruisin’ Altitude(aka Medium on a scale of Mild to Hot), Chipotle BBQ(not too spicy, but has a nice chipotle flavor) and Golden BBQ(very smoky, would go perfect on a rack of ribs). Another plus is that you can also season your fries at no extra charge. There’s Cajun, Mesquite, Garlic Parmesan, or Ranch flavors. The only negative is that the place itself is not something to write home about décor wise. The entire theme of Wings Over is an airplane/airport hanger so there’s a lot of metal. It’s got a somewhat cold feel to it(not temperature wise), it almost feels like a hospital if anything. But the food is really good so I can look over this. I know some people are crazy about ambiance though. Another note, this is not a wait-service restaurant. Definitely recommend, I’ve been here a bunch and plan to be back many more times. I think you get a lot more bang for your buck compared to Buffalo Wild Wings for example.

$ 8.99 lunch special: very large boneless wings, fries and a drink(also came with blue cheese or ranch.) I believe this is from 11−4pm but don’t quote me. Waited probably only 5 – 10 mins. They have tables to eat inside with paper towel rolls at each one(very convenient). I ate some spicy food the day before so I chose the«wimpy» sauce which is their mild. The boneless wings were excellent ! Large pieces of white meat, not heavily breaded and sauced well. Came out piping hot alongside perfectly salted fries. Am I the only person that appreciates when fries are salted and not just taken out of the fryer and dumped on a plate ?? A definite belly filler of a lunch and you will want to take a nap after, worth it. Probably some of the best boneless wings I’ve had, beats out BWW in a long shot.

Juicy wings, big portions and good prices but some misses. — We usually order on grub hub and there have been times when items were missing from the delivery. We call, they say they will credit the card(we would prefer the food but they don’t want to drive back) and we never see the money again. It’s usually small items like coleslaw and macaroni salad so we’re too lazy to chase it down days later when we realize we were never credited — It’s nice that you can get large orders and mix flavors but it would be nicer if they did something to separate the flavors rather than throwing all the wings in one box with no dividers, paper, etc — SUPER cheap with dipping sauces — no celery or carrots included with wings — timeliness of delivery is hit or miss

Wings Over. I know I reviewed this place, but it seems to have disappeared… Here goes, I loved these filling delicious wings! They have an ongoing lunch deal which I need to check out again very soon, for around 7 bux you get any flavor boneless wings, fries, and a drink. The parmesan are fantastic — the middle spiced ones are hot enough and the next two above that are fantastically ferocious. Greasy mess but so awesome. A lot of places have chewy, fatty wings; not here! I’d recommend this place, and have to many friends and co-workers, who all feel the same.

We needed a quick Buffalo chicken wrap fix, so we finally decided to try this place out. Pleasantly surprised by the quality and value. It was fast, but not TOO fast; the spice levels were perfect(there are 5 levels of spice to the Buffalo chicken; we did 3&4) and the wraps were huge! We’ll probably just split one next time, but that’s certainly not because of price, as it still only came out to 13 bucks. Can’t beat that! (The level 4 spice, «Jet Fuel», is right around that point of «normally would be a little too hot, but good if you’re really in the mood for it or want to clear your sinuses.» I was actually sweating!)

It’s not the best wings you can get, but the quality is good enough for party food and they have yet to screw up an order, which is a breath of fresh air for wing joints. — Skip the onion rings — The waffle fries are good — Try all the flavors!

I have to say it’s hard to find a place with unique flavors that are actually good. Each time I order I make sure I try something new. You want something smothered in sause? They got it. You looking for dry? They got it. Mustang ranch, and whimpy are two of my favorites. Plus I love their fries. If you’re looking for a new wing place I’d say give them a shot. We usually get them delivered, so sometimes our fries end up soggy, but reguardless the wings are good. Give them a shot, I’m sure you’ll find a new flavor you’ll love.

Really great bone-in wings. I work in south Farmingdale and I’ve ordered delivery from here three times now and they’re really fast. If you order online, they allow you to leave a tip and give you a good tracker and an estimated arrival time which is nice. Everything is pretty good, my favorite sauce is the honey bbq and I always get the Parmesan waffle fries. Prices are pretty low too, absolutely no complaints.

Looks like a hole in the wall, but has a great selection of wing flavours. Personally love the West Texas Mesquite as it’s more of a rub than a sauce. But the Jamaican Jerk is a close second. This is a place that thinks wings should be breaded, so order them naked(unbreaded) if that’s how you like them.

The wings are delicious. I had the Cajun teriyaki and honey barbecue, which I ordered 10 of each flavor. After eating 3 of each flavor and giving one of each away I looked down and at my glorious wings only to find 3 barbecue and 4 Cajun teriyaki left! That means I only got 15 wings.(7 barbecue and 8 Cajun teriyaki) the wings were extremely filling, which was good, but I was owed 6 more wings! On top of that, the waffle fries were ok, and the macaroni salad was warm and very vinegary. I’m not sure if they meant for it to be so vinegary. Would I go back? Maybe if someone I was with was dead set on it. But definitely not a first choice. If I am going to pay $ 8.99 for 10 wings I should be getting 10 wings.

I love their wings. They are big and not bad for the price. I love their burgers they are juicy and tender. I love their menu because they have a ton of flavor and choice of spices. When I am really hungry I get wings because the hit the spot.

Good wings and service. They had a lunch special deal when I went, Boneless wings and fries. Portions are good, and overall a good bang for the buck.

I actually really really like this place. Although it’s not the best looking place their wings are incredible! There’s a ton of meat on them and the flavors are great. I have done everything from a small platter to catering. If you want quality wings this is the place to go. Be advised that during big games of all sports this place is very difficult to get an order in. Most times they won’t take orders for a few days before the games bc the amount of orders they take, so order early if you need them when everyone else will too!
