The owner has been in biz many years. Besides normal shoe repairs, he does things his competitors are baffled by…1. I wanted some shoes shortened in heel… this is difficult to do b/c of sole alignment… no prob for him. Turned out beautiful. 2. My fav designer suede jkt tore… he was able to fix almost indiscernibly. He takes pride in his work.

I’ve come here twice to get my Birkenstocks fixed. A puppy ate ½ of my strap the first time and the second the strap was ripped and needed to be replaced. The store owner/shoe master is really friendly and to the point. He fixed my shoe and have me a new piece of leather for my strap– whereas his competitors told me they didn’t have leather in their store to fix my shoe and opted for a patch method instead. The competitor in downtown Farmington also told me my shoes were dirty three times and expected me to get them cleaned even if I didn’t want to get them fixed. My shoes are not dirty, that is the color of a Birkenstock. I wanted a new strap and rivet and that is what Shoe Master gave me without telling me my shoes are dirty. It took 1 day to fix my strap and $ 7.5 — super reasonable and speedy! I will I back here with my shoes when they need repairs in the future– don’t go anywhere else in Farmington!

I brought a pair of Louboutin shoes to this shop to have sole replacements. I was given a price of $ 25. Before I left, I mentioned having shoes cleaned. I was never quoted a price. When I returned 3 days later to pick up my shoes, I was told then $ 50. I stated I was un aware of price change. He said it was up to me to ask. He said he had to paint shoes. But never asked my permission. I pointed out where shoes weren’t painted. He said perhaps I need to go some place else. Then he went to back of shop out of sight. I found this shop unprofessional and I will not be back.
