I am one of those people who really like to research medical ailments to a fault. I am also the type of person that does not like surgery and worries due to not being in control; however, having gone to Dr. Rebock I assure you that you are in good hands.
He came highly recommended by my family doctor and then when someone who works at Botsford, they too said he was awesome and a top notch doctor.
I had inguinal hernia surgery. The appointments before hand were pretty quick. Parking was not an issue and he did a great job of calming my nerves about it. He told me all of my options and made recommendations on which one he would do based off of my concerns.
The day after surgery I walked for a mile. The next week I was ahead of schedule and probably getting a little bit too far ahead of myself. I really pushed his work to the max and it held up perfectly. 2 months later I was playing baseball (which obviously relies on twisting the abdomen) and a year and a half later it has not reoccurred. He gives you a good time line as far as what to expect and when you can do certain activities.
