I lived in Farmington for close to five years before I ever knew that there was an outdoor pool here… But I was pleasantly surprised to find out its existence. While voters declined spending the money to upgrade this into a true aquatic center (very disappointing), I am hopeful that the city can continue to maintain the pool and keep it open. I love that there is a place like this that kids can go to get exercise at a low-​cost. And I’ve noticed that the local parks and recreation department has made it so that kids can take a bus here during the summer… Very nice!
