Delicious pizza. Fresh ingredients. The dough, sauce and cheese taste so light and airy. Perfect pizza

If you want pizza delivered, go somewhere else unless you are prepared to wait in excess of one hour. I have tried this place twice and both times the delivery time has been excessive. One hour and fifteen minutes are placing my order the other night, the driver calls me and says he will be there in a couple of minutes. I go downstairs to wait and after about fifteen minutes go back upstairs to find a voicemail message that says he can’t find my apartment. I call him and he comes back. I find him at the building next door and he says when he came the first time, he was in the back. I get my pizza and salads one hour and fifty minutes after ordering. I go inside to go upstairs. On the way up the stairs, I notice the bag reeks of cigarette smoke. It stank! It’s unfortunate that the delivery is soo bad!

The prosciutto panini is out of this world. I think about it all the time. That sandwich will change your life. Simple, fresh, ingredients. Great mesh of flavors. As far as the establishment, it’s clean, quiet, easy to locate and parking is right out front. I order and pick up all the time. The fresh mozzarella and tomato salad is also amazing. I would recommend this little gem of a restaurant to anyone.

Really disappointed with the delivery service last Saturday night. I called at 6:15pm and my pizza was delivered 2 hours later around 8:15pm. On the phone they said it would be there within the hour which was fine. After an hour and a half I was wondering if my pizza would even come. The person I talked to on the phone said they make no guarantees for time delivery and that it was their busiest night. He tried to tell me that I had ordered the pizza at 7:15 which was not true I ordered an hour before at 6:15pm. He said they could offer me no discount and seemed to think that delivering a pizza 2 hours later was acceptable. The young teen who finally delivered was polite and apologetic but the customer service on the phone was offensive. The pizza was pretty good but it was lukewarm and not delivered hot.

Had company over the weekend(including 4 young children) so we ordered Pizza from Pomodoro’s…OMG…so happy we did… it was like being back in New York City! It was perfectly cooked, thin crust, hot and bubbly.

I came here today because of a recommendation of my mechanic after I complained that«I haven’t had a really outstanding slice of pizza since I left Philly». So he told me about Pomodoro’s. Once he mentioned they used all organic ingredients, I made it a point to visit there ASAP. So I went tonight and ordered the Margerita pizza. Wow! Perfecto! Thin crust, not soggy, flavorful topping with fresh tomato, basil, & cheese. Just the right balance of garlic. Just a superbly crafted pizza.

This is my second review. As a self proclaimed expert in the art of eating pizza, Pomodoro’s gets 2 cheesy thumbs up! I’ve tried them all and have found a few gems here and there. This place sparkles with taste. Pomodoro’s flashes me back to my childhood in NY when I would get my hands on a pizza with a crisp, bubbly crust. Sort of like getting the icing rose on a birthday cake. Pomodoro’s uses such fresh ingredients that you can easily tell the difference between theirs and others. Now, I will not eat pizza from anywhere else(unless I’m in New Haven). It’s worth the trip from anywhere to eat this very well put together and generously sized pizza. Luckily, I live only a mile away. God does hear your prayers after all.

We had BBQ chicken pizza and the local sodas. There was a slight tang to the bbq sauce, perfectly cooked chicken breast, fresh mozzarrella, and a thin crispy crust. This is a cute eatery, bring your own drinks(maybe from the wine store next door). Support this local pizzeria and you won’t be disappointed.

Great gluten free pizza! Reasonable price(for gluten free) and such friendly staff! My boyfriend was visiting from out of town, and they gave him directions and promised to stay open until he arrived, even though it was almost closing time! The Hawaiian pizza and white pizza were both great! I will definitely be coming back here soon!

I liked this pizza but it was just OK when we were here. We kept it pretty simple — a salad and a fresh mozz pizza. The salad was OK but underwhelmingly pedestrian, maybe a bagged salad tossed on a plate and bottled dressing. The pizza was HUGE(we got a large) and it was absolutely covered in fresh mozz. which was maybe a little too much. I like my cheese but pizza is a trinity of crust-sauce-cheese and if the balance is off, it throws it all out of whack. This pie was out of whack at least for me — too much cheese made it hard to enjoy the crust or sauce. The sauce — well, it was hidden by the cheese but it seemed like it was swimming with overpowering dried spices. Finding so much dry oregano on a pizza is surprising from a place that had been so well received. And on to the crust — well, this was pretty disappointing as well — it was well cooked in their deck oven, the crust had a nice little char and you know the classy leopard spotting on the underside, but it was like the dough was poorly shaped — the crust edge cornicione was folded under, maybe rolled under the pie — super strange. Toward the middle it was like the crust was puzzle pieced together — several slices when picked up just sheered in the middle on their own — no glutinous structure holding it together so as I was taking a bit and half my slice falls apart it was kind of sad. Maybe they took a dough ball from a smaller pie and stretched it too much or tried to add dough to make the larger pie? I dunno. it was just not right. The pizza was great cold and great reheated, even with all that cheese. Restaurants like this with a fridge of local soda and no mainstream pops is pretty cool too.

Ordered delivery tonight and the pizza was really good. Had a sausage and pepperoni medium. NYC thin crust style pizza. Only thing I wish is that I would have ordered extra sauce. Outside of that, very good taste. Will order again.

Got our first pizza here tonight and it was great. Even my one slice kid went back for two.

This is what Pepe’s could be like if they used good toppings. The Piggly Wiggly(any of my midwest peeps feel like that’s a familiar name?) that other reviewers have mentioned is now simply called«Meat». I would continue the tradition of making that the recommendation. The pie is thin crust. They have delicious toppings that are just salty enough. You can see the pizza oven, in fact it’s so close to the front desk that you could cough into it if it were open. They have a handful of local made Avery Sodas to drink along with a few standards and bottled water. The location is tiny, which is probably why they don’t get the same publicity as the larger more famous pizza chains, but the pie is awesome. There are only three or four small tables, and I’m a little surprised they aren’t busier every time we go in. If you’re coming in from the East look for the Dunkin’ Donuts and the small storefront will be immediately after on the left.

Typing w/1hand because I just had a small pepperoni delivered, and OMG It’s mouthwatering delicious! Fresh tomato gives that NY pizza flavour. It’s a slow night, so they delivered outside their range!!! You gotta try this…

Great little pizza spot for a quiet date night(what we did here last weekend) or with a friend you’ve been wanting to catch up with! The place is BYOB and is next door to a wine shop so its perfect to grab a bottle of cabernet while your pizza is cooking in the oven. The pizza is a bit more expensive then your average pizza but its NOT your average pizza here! You can tell they use great quality products. Staff was friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a great New York style pizza check this place out!
