Plaza Pool and Spa runs a little side business out of this location and the same employees«work» at both. I was billed through Plaza but this is a review of their little side business and I’m sure their demeanor and follow through are about the same. Perfect Products LTD USEATOWNRISK I placed an order for replacement rollers back on the 4th of May and received almost immediate confirmation of my order and payment but no tracking number. A week or so goes by so I email them back to ask about when I can expect my order and to send me a tracking number. No response. A few days later I begin calling the number which has a generic answering machine saying the mailbox is full and can not accept a message. This is when I start to smell something fishy and wonder if they’d gone out of business. I look back at my payment confirmation and find that this is a side business of Plaza Pool and Spa. Called PP+S on Monday and sure enough the woman that sent my payment receipt works there and in a very un-apologetic way tells me she’ll look into it and call me back by the next day. Guess what? That’s right, no call back. It’s Friday now and I called this morning to follow up and that woman wasn’t available but I spoke to someone else who I think was in charge and she tells me, and I’m not kidding, «These items ship in 6 – 8 weeks of ordering and this isn’t an excuse but we are a pool supply business and it’s the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend» Like that’s supposed to explain why they haven’t shipped my order for THREE weeks? Yeah, that is an excuse. An awfully LAME excuse! Your website says items are shipped within TWO business days of payment confirmation and can take up to TEN days to ship. Not 6 – 8 weeks, it’s on your own website! You are now SEVEN days behind schedule and I don’t care if you’re driving the lead float in the main street parade, you need to plan to stop that float at FED-UPS in route to drop my order off next day air! Anyway, either they hung up on me or my call was dropped but either way when I called back to point out that their website says essentially 12 days total I was cut off with a dismissive«I’ll let her know». So I then called back to tell them to cancel the order and stick the lint rollers you know where and they stopped answering my calls! So while the credit card company goes after them I’m writing this to warn anyone who might do business with them. It’s one thing to take a little longer to deliver something, and sure sometimes some people/orders fall through the cracks too. But the mark of an honest business is how they treat customers when problems do arise. When you act indifferent to your mistake and try to ignore it that’s something totally unacceptable and not the kind of establishment I want to give my business to. USEATOWNRISK
