The Stone Hearth Café has added a full service dining room called the Greenwood Room that has an excellent menu with seafood, chicken, beef and vegetarian options. My friend and I ate here on a Thursday evening and the food was terrific. This chef really knows how to balance flavors and cook food to the perfect degree of doneness. I had a Marsala mushroom with grilled polenta appetizer. The polenta was nice and crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside and the mushrooms were cooked al sentence with a delicious sauce. I am still salivating over this dish. I ordered baked flounder which was perfectly cooked, moist and firm. They served a bread basket with a little dish of tomato bruschetta sauce that had a ton of flavor. My companion had a chicken Rimini entrée that was well seasoned, moist, and stuffed with prosciutto and fresh basil. The service was excellent and charming. The décor is brick, black ceilings and carved support pillars painted black with gold accents. The effect is elegant and sedate. We will return soon to try more of their entrees.

My wife and I had two delicious paninis. She had the caprese and I had the roast beef. Again, both were really good. But… the beer was warm and the service was cold. When I asked for some napkins the server stated«so YOU did not get enough» with a bad attitude tone. We finally left when we took our dishes we were eating with back into the story and the lady at the counter was AGAIN rude my wife. These folks need to keep the good food and fire the server!!!

Wonderful European style pizza with fresh, quality ingredients. The outside patio is a great dining option. Good wine by the glass. Gelato. Yum. With the movie next door, it’s the perfect date spot.
