My husband and I celebrated our one-year wedding anniversary the other day. On our honeymoon, we’d gone to Longhorn Steakhouse up in Sevierville and had a wonderful meal, so this time we visited the Turkey Creek location closer to us. Our server Chase was excellent, making sure our drinks were refilled, bringing bread and the Sweet Chili Calamari appetizer promptly to tide us over, and engaging in friendly conversation about our anniversary. I ordered the 6 oz. Parmesan Encrusted Sirloin with the Corkscrew Mac n’ Cheese, and my husband got the salmon with caesar salad and fries. All of the food was delicious — my steak was cooked perfectly medium, and the portions were so generous we were able to take a little bit of everything home for leftovers the next day. To top it all off, they gave us a free ice cream sundae for us to share. Though a more pricy option than what we normally dine at on our budget, the food and service is always so good we keep finding reasons to come back.

My family and I love this place. The food is consistently good and the service is fantastic. The steak has always been cooked just right and the jalapeño appetizer is to die for. Ask for Stephen Coley and he will make sure you have a great dining experience!!!

Our service is spectacular. Dessica is accommodating, friendly, and overall spot on. The food is good but too pricey for the quality in my opinion.

This chain needs better management. Period. The front door on arrival was packed with waiting customers, yet the restaurant had many open tables. Understaffed in the front of house on a Saturday is always a poor managerial decision. My husband and I, who I haven’t seen in a month due to his working out of state, shimmy up to the bar for a beverage while we wait for a table. The bar keep is no where to be found. Ten minutes goes by and apparently was working on a to go order. Why are there not two bartenders in a Saturday night? Once we finally ordered from the highly limited drink menu, the beer on tap was flat and the bootleg beer had expired. Atrocious. We were seated, but not after waiting five more minutes for the bartender to come back so we could let them know we were unhappy with our drinks. Once seated, we were greeted within ten seconds. Great start to the meal. I cannot remember our servers name. He suggested apps for us and food. I ordered a filet medium rare and my husband ordered the NY Strip with a loaded baked potato. We ordered chips for an appetizer. The chips arrived quickly, cold to the touch and salt was literally just poured over the top of them. We didn’t eat them. We weren’t refunded for them. My steak was cooked exactly to order, and the side of steamed broccoli was some of the best I have ever eaten at a restaurant. My husbands steak however; Pittsburg rare and the baked potato wasn’t hot so the«loaded» wasn’t melted. His other two sides didn’t arrive until we had to ask for them. Our first date night in a month. The manager replaced his NY Strip with, wait for it, the same one, just microwaved. I kid you not. I will never return.

I went once and it was terrible food and service. I said I wouldn’t go back. My husband wanted to go for his birthday so I went again expecting the worst. This time was 100% better! Our server Michael was the best waiter we’ve had in so long! The food was also great. Thanks so much for an awesome birthday dinner for my hubby!

I’ve eaten at Longhorn Steakhouses in Kansas, Missouri, and now Tennessee. I can say without reservation that the Tennessee steakhouse is the best of the bunch. Not only was the food up to the usual Longhorn standard(very good), the staff made it an exemplary experience. On two separate nights I was served by Heather C., Taylor H., and Anna, and all three were excellent examples of service, efficiency, and friendliness. If you’re in the Knoxville area I definitely recommend this location.

This Longhorn needs new management. I am a regular customer of Longhorn. I travel extensively always have a good experience. This restaurant is brand-new and I have tried it three times. Went with some friends the other night and everything was screwed up waitress was horrible. Steaks were like beef jerky.

My mil was celebrating a milestone birthday! We called ahead, I joined the club, so did my husband. We arrive I saw almost All empty tables. hardly any servers. I manage a Darden restaurant, and was shocked that on a Thursday in Turkey Creek a group of 8 could not be seated. We called ahead. Was told 15 min. 45 min later with people leaving right, and left. Still no seating. We live in Seymour. It was quite a drive. We had picks out apps, entrees, and dessert, for my mil. I am a trained Johnson and Wales chef. I was appalled. No sorries, no manager(s) in sight to seat, take orders. Offer free apps, after back with table drinks. Whomever the managers are, and the DM, need serious training! Our oldest at 12 could see that. My Mil was let down, and we will not recommend your location to our many friends! Thursday… Staff up. Managers, do your job! Disappointed in a day we planned for two wks! Jonathan.

I frequently dine at longhorn in turkey creek and it is always on point. I switch up what I get between the salmon-which is always delicious especially with the bourbon glaze, a ribeye-which is always full on flavor, or the chicken strawberry salad-which makes me feel healthy! The service is always awesome too, they make me feel like I’m home. I usually order some type of bar drink as well which are always great too! Keep it up guys!

Best Longhorn Steakhouse I’ve ever been to! We sat at the bar on Saturday with Taylor and Heather and had everything we needed and more! I always get the outlaw bone in ribeye and it was cooked perfectly! The manager Steve Coley even stopped by to make sure we were enjoying everything. The only thing better than the drinks and service was the food! WILLBEBACK

Horrible!!! I can’t believe we spent this much money and our friends for charbroiled steaks freaking ridiculous!!! All ordered medium & they all turned out very well done dang near too burnt to eat. When paying $ 22/steak you’d think it’d be cooked to order. Heck, we’d been ok with medium well but this was crazy! We spent almost $ 300 for over cooked steaks, don’t think we’ll ever be a customer or in good faith recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I like LongHorn… they are always the same no matter where you go. This one did not fail to meet my expectations. Longhorn is a good value for a pretty good cut of meat. Just wish they’d upgrade their salads and offer something more than iceberg lettuce.

I am a fan of the consistency of the food of this chain in general. This location has pretty awful service at the bar. They were busy doing stuff the entire 1.5 hours we were there, but I have no idea what they were actually doing. Everyone seated had to wait a really long time for food and refills. If you’re not in a hurry it’s no big deal(which I wasn’t), but it could be a pain in the arse if you aren’t expecting the wait.

Most underperforming Longhorn I have ever been to. I have given this place 3 chances — it took the mgmt 25 minutes to get the thermostat fixed. At lest three tables complained about how sweltering hot it was! Torture! — NY strip came out WAY over seasoned and paper thin! — do not get that parmesan crust option! — it is sad to say, but the Logan’s Roadhouse actually beats this place.

I have ate here for several times already. I like to give a place more than one try before writing a review because sometime a certain item is a hit or miss. Longhorn steak house do have good seafood dishes. My number one choice would be the Redock Grilled Shrimp(buttered, canjun, garlic flavored). The salmon is another great selection you can count on. The steak here aren’t the greatest even though it is called a «steak house.» The sirloin steak is ok but other like NY strip or prime rib is meh. Lamb chop here is on point but Outback or Ruth Chris is way better. As far as the sandwiches or burger, I wouldn’t recommend because there are way too many good restaurant in the Knoxville area that could be way better, such as Litton’s, Five Guys, Stock & Barrel, and Fleming’s. So why waste your money here?

Yuck. No. Double yuck! 6 of us went to Longhorn for my friend’s promotion. Prime rib overcooked and flavorless. Friend’s steak was saltier than reheated pepperoni pizza. Grilled chicken was pan fried and tasted like plastic. Presentation was lacking. Looked like food was just thrown on plate. Salad swimming in dressing. Saw a waitress(thankfully not ours) pick up two drinks with one hand by sticking fingers INSIDE of glass, carry to table but switch to two hands when serving drinks. Staff, however, was very polite and attentive. Just couldn’t make up for substandard food. I usually praise restaurants, never take the time to complain, but this was an experience each of us couldn’t ignore and wished we’d never had.

My husband and I each had a ribeye. They were both tough and fries was cold. Water came with a rotten lemon slice and the margarita was weak. Not on our list anymore.

My husband, niece, Mom and I had Fathers Day lunch today. Very crowded however our party of 4 was seated in less than 10 minutes. Food was delicious. The grilled watermelon salad was awesome. Mom ordered a burger as she does not like steak. She said it good and she enjoyed the sweet potato as a side. All 3 steaks were tender, juicy and cooked as ordered. We also love the bread served warm with lots of butter. This was our second time there and we will return. As we were leaving, the hostess gave us coupons for a free appetizer. Will try the fried green tomatoes as they looked really good.

We had tried to visit since it opened and they were consistently busy with a long(45 min — 1 hour) wait. Finally we went for an early dinner and tried it. I was not in a steak mood on that particular night, so I had the trout. It was delicious! If we braved the lines or were able to get out early enough I would definitely go back. My husband enjoyed his steak. The only downer of the day was the seating. The bar seats are tall so that if you’re short your feet hang and built so that for my particular height there’s not comfortable place to rest your feet. I wasn’t a fan, but that was more a function of my father in law insisting we sit in the bar!

I know, i know. I should not order seafood at a steakhouse. I couldn’t eat any more steaks during my stay in Knoxville. I ordered the Salmon and it was very good. My friends all had steaks and they looked great. Thank you to our server, he was great.
