They had a «buffet» I ordered it without looking at it first and that was a mistake. At 5:45 it was mostly empty. There was hardly anything left on it and they never replenished it while I was there. A lot the food looked very unappealing. The tiny piece of roast that I managed to dig out of the vat of juice tasted okay. It was a little dry though. For the price I’m very disappointed. It was expensive and not well stocked at all. My nephew ordered macaroni and cheese it looked like it had been previously cooked and them reheated in the microwave. Overall I’m not impressed at all. I feel like if you are going to have a buffet you need to keep it stocked.

Not a lot of options in Fayette but Bokie’s seems to be a favorite. Honestly, I was not particularly impressed, especially when the bill arrived. Breakfast seems to be the best option here and there is a pretty good selection but prices are a bit high, Food is fine and people seems to love the omelets. Lunch often features a food bar for a flat rate that seems popular with rotating items on it. As my stomach isn’t always the best on deep fried items, I passed on it the day I visited for lunch. I opted for a roast beef sandwich and it was essentially pot roast with not gravy or sauce. It wasn’t my thing and rather bland. Decoration focuses on the history of the town, lots of high school class pictures from when Fayette had a high school. The remaining décor would qualify as a dive, floors could use work and having matching floor covering throughout the place would be welcome. Bokie’s isn’t going to win any awards on that front. If in Fayette it isn’t a terrible option, but that is primarily due to the fact there are so few options.
