Drove an hour and a half just for them to be closed way before business hours. The woman was beyond rude. We just wanted to know why they were closed. She sat in her chair in the corner and wouldn’t even get up to talk to us. She yelled at us from the other side of the building(she was inside, I was outside the gate). When we told her we were having trouble hearing her, she didn’t care and continued to sit there. She even just stopped answering us. I was so upset about the way we were treated, I just got into the car ready to leave. My boyfriend then walked around just to look at the crops, and then the woman finally got out of her chair. Only to make sure he wasn’t stealing or trespassing. How ridiculous! What did we do to deserve such treatment Long story short, there was a sign on the INSIDE of the building that said the berries were not ripe. Even still, they could have let us in to shop the produce. But sure, turn away our business. I was happy to leave after all of this I recommend no one ever going here. All the reviews were right about the outrageously rude staff. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Drove down today from Cobb County and had a good pick. We did strawberries and raspberries. This was our first time here but not picking. We got their early(which is must when picking anything to beat the heat of the day and crowds). We went to strawberries first and was assigned a row. There were pretty good pickings but I heard folks on the other rows say they weren’t seeing much. We then did raspberries, which were fewer but we got enough. Everybody was friendly to us and talkative. They answered my son’s questions. Mrs. Adams(I’m guessing) asked how we did and gave my son a sticker. Checkout was fast and easy. They subtract the weight of the container when weighing the berries(I’ve been places where they do not unless you say something, which is a ripoff). We had about 2lbs of strawberries and a third of pound of raspberries. When we got home and tasted them, they were so good and sweet. We will probably go back in June for blackberries and blueberries.

I find the people here very nice. Mrs. Adams can be a little snippy, but since I go there for produce and not friendship, I could care less. They lead you to believe that they grow the tomatoes when in fact, they come from Florida. Once again, who cares?

I love this place. In the past i would drive an hour and a half north to go berry picking. i was pleased when i found Adam’s Farm just south of the city. The prices vary at different points throughout the summer, so don’t over pick, like I did my first time. You are expected to purchase all that you pick. If you are picking with children be sure to prepare them for the extended time in the direct sun. Also, bring Tupperware or a container of some sort to place your delicate strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. Otherwise you may end up with mush by the time you get home. At times they even gave rasberries. This is a great summer outting and I would recommend it to anyone in the area.

We took our son here for strawberry picking and had a GREAT time. Everyone was friendly and we were able to shop after and get a lot of wonderful produce to take home with us. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great place for strawberry picking. I’d call ahead of time to make sure that strawberries are ready for picking. They DONOT take credit cards– so be sure you have cash! Also, you cannot buy strawberries in the store– you have to pick your own. Be sure to try their strawberry jelly… it’s DELICIOUS!!!

I almost didn’t go to Adams Farms because of some of the reviews I read. I’m glad I didn’t go with my first instincts. My toddler and I had a delightful experience. We picked plenty of strawberries. The blueberries weren’t quite ready to be picked, so we’ll try that again later. There was also plenty of other produce available for purchase. Thankfully, they sold cold bottled water. It was super hot. The staff was very friendly. In fact, the only person who WASN’T friendly was the owner, Mr. Adams. He acted like he couldn’t be bothered to make conversation. My only complaint is the parking. There just isn’t enough when it’s packed. But we lucked up on a spot. Cash only.

The staff at adam’s farm is really rude and unwelcoming. I do not recommend this farm. There are other locations that are more welcoming. I can say from experience that Virginia Adams is the worst one! She can be really ugly to customers.

OK people, I just bought fresh grown HUGE yellow and red peppers for $ 1 each! Acorn squash too! And cucumbers for 30 cents(side note, who made the decision to remove the cent sign from keyboards?) Most of the produce is grown behind the stand and the quality is great! I like knowing that I’m buying local. I do wish their website said more about their use of pesticides…
