Very rude owner. Her employees feel free to be rude as well. They act like mean girls. I live in Fayetteville and want to shop local, but this women and her snotty employees have sent me to online shops.

Such a great store and lovely people work and knit at Hand Held. I have been knitting for a long time but I need help on anything more complicated than a scarf or hat – there is always someone available to help! When my family travels, I always look in at the yarn stores: England, Sweden, NYC, NOLA, but I always end up walking out empty-handed – Hand Held is the best! Great selection of needles, buttons, and patterns. Staff won’t hesitate to refer you to Ravelry if they think the pattern you need is there. Stay tuned for when the store moves to Block St. late in summer 2014.

Found this wonderful shop shortly after I moved to Northwest Arkansas. Couldn’t be happier with the products, the service and the camaraderie. If you knit or crochet — you need to come here!

Shopped for yarn all over the world; I always find myself wishing I were at Handheld! Cynthia carries Rowan & Colinette but also cool novelty yarns & tons of books & magazines! She always makes time to help me figure out a project or when I run into a snag. Handheld is one of my favorite places ever!

I do not like the new owner. I know others that will not go back. She is not helpful and is condescending to her customers. I won’t go back!

Beautiful and comfortable store with everything you need to knit up a storm. The owners are wonderful women who are happy to assist you in any way they can. Not a knitter — check out their lesson groups and learn! Take a few extra minutes and hang with their adorable shop cat. This place is a must visit!
