Overall, this is a very nice rest area along I 95 northbound. There are two buildings. From the car parking side, the vending machines are to the right of the main building. The restrooms were clean and well maintained for the most part. In the mens restroom, the floor was wet. It looked like it was recent, so there hadn’t been time for it to be cleaned up. Overall, this rest area was better than anything I went to in SC for rest areas. The grounds were nice as well with picnic tables. I also like that they have recycling locations there as well. This is a great rest area to stretch your legs, go to the restroom and take a quick break. Be sure to stop in along your journey northbound.

I live and drive in South Carolina mostly, so this North Carolina rest stop was a revelation. Clean, large, and didn’t smell like rotten urine. Nice vending area, and nice grounds to stretch, clear your head, and walk your pet.
