Real Property Management Northwest Arkansas has been nothing but rude and uncooperative with our lease agreement. In August, 2 weeks before moving into our rental property, we noticed a MAJOR flea infestation. RPM told us that they would have the yard sprayed along with the inside of the home. We went to inspect the house 2 days before we moved in and got our pants COVERED with fleas. We called RPM and after arguing with the owner, Luke, we finally got them to go back out to the house and respray for fleas. In October, we noticed that our house had mice, something running around in the attic and our water hose faucet outside was leaking constantly. We put in a maintenance order for repairs and help with the rodents. No help. We were instructed to buy traps and poison to kill the mice on our own at our own cost. We did. The mice have tripled. I put in a second request to RPM for help. They sent out an «animal control» guy, Dusty. He had no identification on his truck when he pulled up. I assume this is there regular maintenance man, not an expert. He told us judging by the amount of mice feces, we have a major mice problem. Also, with the amount of entry ways that he found, we will have a problem the rest of the winter. We were instructed to keep glue traps (which are inhumane) out for 4 – 5 days AFTER a mouse has been trapped on it, then dispose of the traps when they were full OR when the stench became too bad to handle. RPM told us tonight that they are going to try to repair all the holes in the house. The floors must be completely replaced before the holes will be gone. Mice can enter a hole as small as a pencil eraser. This house is FULL of holes. The water hose outside has been leaking daily since we moved in. Mold is now growing on the outside of the house. We have asked multiple times to be let out of our lease or to transfer to a more secure house they are managing. No help. I would never recommend this company to ANYONE. Luke, the boss, told me I was being a bitch about the flea problem. Unacceptable. Now the fleas are back but I am assuming they are being carried in by the mice.
