Great breakfast. Service is slow. Be prepared for a wait. The John Wayne décor reminds me of my grandpa. He was his favorite actor. Best pie… And biscuits and gravy.

I’ve only ever been here for breakfast, but it never disappoints! It’s great southern homestyle breakfast with a fun western diner atmosphere. It is reasonably priced and I never leave hungry! Also-though I’ve never actually had one, I hear their pies are great!

Love it here! I feel like I’m in the south when I walk into this place. Biscuits, gravy, and chicken fried steak is so good. Loved the Cinnamon French toast, and bacon as well. Now this place is only open till 2 pm, and I have yet to try anything for lunch there, but have a feeling it will be just as good as the breakfast. The pie looks amazing, and I haven’t gotten any yet, because I’ve been too full from breakfast to take any home with me. Portions are perfect, not overly expensive, and I found the staff to be attentive. Definitely going back. The only odd thing about this place is the John Wayne obsession in the décor. But, hey I guess it’s their thing. Check it out. It’s still a cool place.

Absolutely atrocious customer service. We waited in line for 20 minutes to get in. It is a Sunday; probably the busiest day for breakfast of the week. No problem. We sat down and ordered pretty quickly. Then 30 minutes pass, 45 minutes, an hour, and I see a table bigger than ours who were seated after us paying their ticket. Then the table next to us that sat down after us gets their food. We checked on our order and although none of the employees ever admitted it, our order was never put in. No one took responsibility for it. Just«these things happen. We’ll get it as soon as we can.» Then we wait another 20 minutes and see more food coming out to more tables that came in way after we did. I ask the lady pouring coffee for a status update and she says«it’s Sunday.» She says this over and over as if I’m not aware of the day, or as if that is supposed to mean something to me. I say, «well can you just check on our food please?» She says«ok» and continues pouring coffee at more tables. My husband finally put money on the table for our coffee and we left. We got no apology, no explanation… even the owner was there and said nothing to us. The sad part was we were in for parents’ weekend and taking our son for breakfast before getting on the road. We got no breakfast after almost 2 hours waiting, no apologies, simply«it’s Sunday» over and over. We spent so long at this restaurant that we had to get going, so we dropped our son off unfed after all that! This is the worst example of «customer service» I have ever experienced in my life. You could not pay me enough to step foot near this place again.

WOW! Great place. Really busy for breakfast but service was fast. Good strong coffee. Fresh home made biscuits, eggs etc. monster cinnamon rolls. Pies looked awesome so had to get some to go. Really cute John Wayne theme.

If your looking for a good ol’ home cooking type of food/atmosphere, this is where you’ll find it. Chocolate gravy is good, omelets are good. Good coffee. Service is friendly, but they are busy. If your one off those people who has to be catered to for every little thing, don’t go here. If I get coffee and I get a refill the lady normally sets the pitcher on my table. They know they are busy but they still are considerate and friendly. Love this place.

I’m re reviewing this place after a dozen or so visits since my last review. This may be the worst breakfast in NWA. Not only is it not that good, but the customer service is non existent and service is, at best, average. Today, our food was wrong, we received no refills on coffee though we asked numerous times. Our check was never brought to the table, and honestly the food was just okay. I will never be back to this place, and I recommend the same for any of you reading this. Penguin Ed’s up the road has as good of breakfast if not better, and they will go out of their way to make sure your experience is a good one. Bye, bye, Rolling Pin.

Ate here on a busy Sunday at 11. The poor service could have been because of the full house, but it was frustrating nonetheless. We sat at a table where someone had just left, and had to request that the bus boy take off the other people’s empty plates after he walked by our table multiple times. We went and got our own menus, and placed our order when the waitress came. We waited 45 minutes for our food, and when it came the order was wrong. When we got the right food, it wasn’t very good. Pancakes were baking soda flavored. Won’t be here again!

This is the standard local breakfast lunch café. Without a doubt the best Grits ever! Service is outstanding and they are always busy! These women treat everyone like family. Comfort food at its best in Fayetteville.

It is still open. I was there this morning and it was packed. Don’t know why it was closed the day you were there unless they closed during spring break or something.

Is this place still in business? I tried to eat there a 2 weekends ago and it is either closed or moved.

The food was great and a good value for price. Portions were of decent size but not over sized. I tried them based on previous reviews and was not disappointed. Wish someone would have mentioned that they are on the side parking lot behind the First Care South building as the area that it is in does not look like it would have a diner mixed in with a day care and multiple medical buildings. Not being from the area did not help much.
