Royal Stix

Our first impression upon arriving at Royal Stix is that it was just another restaurant located inside of a small shopping center with a Kroger supermarket… we were in for a surprise! Lol
Nice looking place, a Thai mural on the wall, table cloths on the tables and a outdoor patio. My other half was in the mood for Chinese but I was more in the mood for Thai and Japanese… I am a big fan of Asian fusion restaurants and prefer them over just regular Chinese restaurants because they combine Chinese, Thai and Japanese food. This restaurant worked out great… he got his Chinese and I got my Thai and Japanese.
Food was great, it was fresh and arrived at our table quickly. We begin with the Thai shrimp rolls and the tempura… both were delicious!
We then decided to add Fried rice… he had Chinese house fried rice and of course I decided to have the Thai house fried rice. Thai fried rice offers the addition of fresh basil and and is a little spicy… delicious!!!
Prices very, very reasonable… both of us are and had sweet tea and lemonade for $ 46!!!
Will I return? Not only will I return but Royal Stix might become my new fav Asian fusion spot… stay tuned!!!

Love this place. It’s difficult to find good Chinese food where I live in Henry county. When I get to come here it’s worth it. Love everything here. It’s all delicious! Their hot and sour soup is on point. The egg drop too. Great spring rolls. Decent sushi. Huge selection of Americanized Chinese food. Yummy.

Hubby and I drove from Newnan to pick up a special order from the Walmart in Fayetteville.
After he was craving Chinese food so I hopped on Unilocal and saw all the great reviews for this place.
The restaurant closed at 10 and we called at 9:50.
They happily took our order and said it would be ready in 10 – 15 min & navigation said we were 8 min away. It’s located in a Kroger shopping center on the far left. It was very cute inside and staff was friendly. We ordered egg drop soup, chicken fried rice & beef lomein all cooked perfectly.
We will definitely come back it’s worth the 30min drive.

I love this place! I always order hibachi and it is great and the prices are very affordable! Great place to go for lunch cause they are fast! Great job!

My boyfriend and I decided to try this restaurant for dinner when we were new to the area. The first error was on the behalf of our waitress. We had sat down, and had been there for 15 – 20 minutes before we even were tended to. We finally got our drink orders in, but we had no silverware. When we got it, it was forks and knives with no chopsticks, so we asked for some. She was really slow, so figured she must be new to the workforce. Needless to say, the tip reflected the service.

My husband and I went there for our 4 yr anniversary yesterday. We made it just in time for the lunch menu. The chicken and rice I got was pretty good. Wasn’t too ecstatic about the sauce they used on it — it was extremely salty. Once I mixed it all together, it was fine. Mine came with a salad. The dressing they used on it was not good at all… even my husband didn’t like it and he eats just about anything. Our server was really nice and made sure our drinks stayed full and that everything was good.
My husband had their mushroom soup and he really enjoyed that. We will definitely be back for everything but that salad.

Delicious food. Great service. I liked the fact that there’s an aquarium between the booths.
My wife and I had a great time here, and it’s the first time when eating at an Asian restaurant my wife hasn’t complained about the texture of the rice. Rice is always a sticking point. My shrimp was delicious, and I can’t wait to try their sushi. I didn’t have any this time, but what I saw others eating looked fantastic.
The fish in the aquarium at our booth were pretty entertaining to watch. Our server was a very nice girl. Recommended.

Absolutely awful experience.
Came here for my boyfriend’s best friend’s engagement party. They had reserved an entire room in advance and we had a party of about 17.
Took almost an hour to get food out — and I’m not talking just about the entrees. I, and a lot of other people had ordered the 2 choice Hibachi dinner, but also sushi. We waited forever just for the sushi, let alone the drink orders we asked for. The sushi was rubbery and not tasty as all. I had ordered the eel and cucumber roll, my boyfriend ordered the spicy tuna roll. The eel tasted… Weird. It was stringy and not tender, like usual.
The main courses were abysmally bad. I had the chicken and filet mignon, my boyfriend ordered the steak and shrimp. His shrimp were perfect! Mine were cold and I could tell my dish had been cooked much earlier. This was what really bothered me, because we had been waiting for quite some time. My rice was colder on the outside and luke warm on the inside. That, and my pieces of filet were somehow all cooked differently — the smaller pieces came out cold. Some were well done, some were medium rare. It was weird and quite honestly, I was worried about eating the colder pieces. I’m pregnant and considering the menu… I expected it to come out hot.
In general, spare yourself and go somewhere where the portions on the plate don’t remind you of a cafeteria. There was no reason why the food took as long as it did, because the place wasn’t even busy aside from us all being there. It might have been a fluke, and I do see how they can be perceived as a good place, but I firmly believe you are overcharged here. Hibachi, to me, is where they cook the food in front of you. This place CHARGES the same for those restaurants, but cooks everything in the kitchen and the food just comes out looking sad. Mediocre, and sad. I could have ordered take out Chinese food faster and it would have been steaming hot and delicious.

This is my favorite restaurant in Fayetteville. They have amazing food and a great atmosphere. I love their sushi and the tom yum soup. My little one has so much fun watching the fishes and eating rice balls with their kid chopsticks. I would recommend this for any occasion. I even had my graduation party here. They were so helpful with the menu and the sushi boat was delicious and gorgeous.

Always my first stop to dine when visiting family in Fayetteville. Alex and his staff provide exceptional service and go above and beyond to ensure my family and guests enjoy our visit. The sushi is fresh and creatively presented, these guys do a great job all around — even delivery! I’ve read some of the «poorly written» reviews and have to disagree with these folks. Stop in to Royal Stix and see for yourself, this place is great! (the wings and spring rolls — unbeatable!)

Ok, So me and my partner thought out would be a great idea to cone out and explore fayetteville and have done dinner. So we choose this shot instead our following our first mind and just staying in our area, close to home. We went here, despite the reviews. We wound give out a chance and try out out as we would write our own. Big mistake!!! Ordered a glass of wine and the stated eating the a wonton chips they give out when your seated. I started to eat then and find this long black hair. We paid for the wine and left immediately. I will never be back!!! EVER, they lost two customers.

We have thoroughly enjoyed eating at Royal Stix on a regular basis (almost weekly) for over a year. Never had issues with the food, and in fact the sushi is quite good, BUT the level of hospitality and service has dropped dramatically in recent months. When we presented their coupon for the lemon pepper wings, which we had done MANY times before, and we were told we couldn’t use it because it was only specifically for «crispy wings». I pointed out they are all called crispy wings and were all the same price. I asked for the manager. Like magic they accepted the coupon! Next visit (and probably our LAST) my kids took me out for my birthday sushi lunch. We decided to splurge & order from the Dinner menu — spending MUCH more than we would have from the lunch menu. Royal Stix offers a lunch punch card to (I assumed) encourage business. When I asked to have my card punched… THEY REFUSED BECAUSE WE ORDERED FROM THE DINNER MENU! Sorry guys this is pretty silly and if you don’t value our business enough to realize how stupid this is, we’ll go elsewhere! Looking forward to trying Ichiban in PTC and Nikko in Tyrone!

Horrible service. After we were seated the waiter passed our table at least 6 times without any acknowledgment that we were there. They were not crowded or busy. After 15 minutes we just left. No employees were even at the front counter when we left. This is second time we’ve had bad service here. Won’t be back again because of the service.

This is one of our favorite date night spots. The calamari is fresh and delicious, as is the sushi. The fish is very good too, made with fresh ingredients and seasoning. You can’t beat the staff because they are very attentive. Try the coconut soup too!

Avoid this place and find somewhere else to spend your money. Bland, tasteless food at expensive prices. The shrimp fried rice was tasteless and the beef and broccoli was bland as well. They even refused to honor THEIR coupon that doesn’t expire until October 2015 and lied about why they wouldn’t take it! Bad business! Stay away people!

We love this place. We just moved to Fayetteville from Pittsburgh and we had a really great chinese place to get takeout from in the Burgh. So, we were looking for something similar down here. We think we’ve found it. The food is very good, veggies very fresh, always piping hot even after driving it home and the prices seem great. They also offer a lot of coupons that allow you to get apps or other things free when you spend a certain amount.
Inside, the ambiance is nice and clean and I like that they serve sushi as well as typical chinese food. We will continue to leverage this place both for take out and for date nights.

Always great service. Food is always very much enjoyed. Staff works above and beyond for customers. They also have quick delivery which I love. I recommend their sushi. Their Coconut soup is delicious and very filling. One of my favorites now.

I can’t believe their was a bug in my Won Ton Soup. This is my first and last time ever coming to this restaurant! Very disappointed!

I’m really blow away by the 4 and 5 stars this place has gotten. Stopped by here for lunch to break out of the norm of stuff we usually do for lunch. Did the hibachi lunch & i’m a big fan of Hibachi but i’m not a big fan of this place. Bland, boring & surely I could have done better than this. There were quite a few people from the office that had lunch here & no one was impressed. I“m going to save my gas & not drive out here for average again.

Royal Stix is by far the best Asian fusion restaurant in Fayetteville. I eat here all the time and have only been disappointed once (and that wasn’t anything to cancel out the other excellent experiences).
The sushi selection is pretty good for the size of the place and it’s location (not many sushi fanatics this side of Atlanta) and the food is always good. It’s hard to get so many different distinctly Asian flavors to come out right in a place offering them all, but Royal Stix does it.
Plus the décor (minus the odd choice of old car tins near the booths) is nice.
