This resturant was highlighed on the Foodnetwork channel, so I had to give it a try. Service was a little slow however their Food was fresh, I ordered a shrimp quesadilla, they nailed it. There burgers were also on point. Nice size portions too. Will defintely come back!

Great atmosphere. The food though were just okay. I get it that it’s not authentic Mexican food but the menu items we had were just okay. I can’t recall the names of the tacos we ordered but they weren’t that great. I ordered one with crab cakes and one with shrimp. The shrimp one wasn’t too bad but the crab cakes were flavorless. The service when we went was slow as well. It took a while for our food to come out. We were pretty disappointed as we’ve been wanting to eat at a Twisted taco for a long time now since we’ve heard good things about it. Perhaps if we’re in the area, we’ll try their other location and see if it’s any different.

Ate here before with friends and it was so good that I wanted to come back for my birthday dinner. Love this place!

Have been twice and both times the service and food has been out of this world. Can’t wait to come back.

Was a bit put off by the cluttered interior/seating, but the tacos were good and the margaritas made me smile much longer than I probably should have.

The tricky thing about Twisted Taco is that the experience upstairs vs downstairs is quite different. I find downstairs to be incredibly loud and freezing cold. But upstairs is great. The food choices have expanded so that is no longer a big drawback. The drinks are weak which can be good or bad depending on your preference. Best choice is to start at Twisted Taco for food, then get dessert and a real drink next door at the Courthouse.

Great food, great service. My wife and I went for lunch yesterday and had a great time. I ordered one of their burritos and it was delicious. I like all the posters for old westerns on the wall. Recommended.

Still give it 5 stars. Food is great and plentiful. Hit them up on a taco night or discount burrito night and you won’t be disappointed. The taco salad was a little different than you usual fair, but was very tasty and filled with fresh ingredients and just what I wanted after having noshed on too many chips and salsa.

I forget the name of it but they have a chicken breast sandwich that has feta cheese on it that I LOVE! The wait staff is always friendly and I especially love how you get to have control over your tables television. My family lives in walking distance and we frequent as much as we can, especially during football season. Oh, the queso and beef queso dips are delicious as well!

I’ve never gone back and revisited a place I’ve reviewed before, but not too many places have pulled such a 180 to warrant reevaluation. Well, there’s a first time for everything. Long story short, I reviewed this place when they were kind of new, and I was blown away at the quality of the food as well as the level of the service. The five stars I gave them back in 2014 was well deserved, and I had a renewed sense of faith that there was at least one good place in Fayetteville that was worth coming back to. And come back, I have, quite a few times, since then. The Cuban tacos on soft corn tortillas, are still to this day, some of my favorite tacos in the entire Metro Atlanta area(and OTP South, which many snobs refuse to acknowledge). However, the basis for this reevaluation is that the service has gone downhill, tremendously. To the point where it couldn’t be ignored and that something needed to be said about it; and it’s not an isolated incident, but the result of a sequence of my last few visits that have me scratching my head to just why the service sucks so much now. Take for an example a sleepy Wednesday evening; excluding the bar, I was one of _two_tables dining in the entire establishment. Eventually, I was the last diner in the restaurant. Despite the sheer lack of occupants, my waitress was either nowhere to be found, or hanging out with the other waitress and the hostess in plain sight, the three of them sidled up in a booth pretending to roll silverware while the other was showing stuff on their iPhone. Meanwhile, my chips and salsa were empty, and there were frequent periods of waiting to order, get drink refills, and getting my check — despite being the only diner in the restaurant. I reached my boiling point with Twisted Taco Fayetteville on a recent Friday night; sure, I get it, Friday night, Fayetteville literally has nothing better to do than loiter at Twisted Taco, but I was still able to snag two seats at the bar, as opposed to waiting 20 minutes for a table to open up; I’ve eaten at the bar several times in the past to satisfactory results, I was clearly being naïve to believe that this would be any different. Instead, I get the bartender equivalent of Derek Zoolander, who would repeatedly stare off aimlessly in between mixing drinks or filling up mugs of beer. I waited for 10 minutes before I had to verbally get his attention and ask if I could order food. This guy was in his own little world the entire night, not paying attention to anyone who didn’t straight up yell out«Hey T*****,» didn’t refill drinks, didn’t refill chips, and basically needed to have his hand held to do his job. The bottom line is that I feel that the vast majority of staff I see at Twisted Taco has grown complacent with their position in the community and their obvious standing with regular customers, but it reflects poorly to those who aren’t coming every single week, or making this place their daily watering hole. I think it’s cool to develop relationships with regulars, and to be able to be chummy with familiar faces, but when it gets to a point where you, start sucking at your jobs, then it’s a problem. Far too frequently, service has been sub-par, because servers are too often fraternizing with each other or regular customers, and inhibiting their abilities to actually pay attention to their other diners. It’s cool that the servers get along with one another, but I’m tired of having to flag people down to beg for more water or more chips, place orders, or request my check. The only reason I have been coming in spite of the crappy service is simply the fact that I still enjoy their food. The Cuban tacos are still fantastic, and they make a mean house-made guacamole. But make no mistake, as far as this star-rating is re-issued: 4 stars for the food 0 stars for the service 2 stars as a result The service leaves a lot to be desired, and with each terribly server experience, even the Cuban tacos will make me think twice about coming back here. There are other Twisted Tacos elsewhere that I could go to that probably couldn’t be any worse than Fayetteville’s becoming.

My boyfriend and I came here for a date, and their food to me was just okay. My boyfriend however absolutely loved their loaded burger. I was very intrigued when I walked in, because there are«jail cells» that you can sit in to eat. Almost every booth that you sit at, there is mini tv that you are able to control. The staff there were very, very friendly. Their food is fairly priced. I got three tacos, the Alaskan, the Crab Cake, and the Hamburger. For appetizers, we got the chicken rolls(eggrolls), and they are pretty good. Since there were more of a vintage style building, the parking was next to the building.

This taco place is one of the best I have been at, and I rarely hand out 5 stars to any place, but when you have great service along with great food that’s the rating you will get from me. I ate 4 soft tacos and all different kinds. I loved the variety, but I feel guilty about breaking my Daniel fast of no meat. I will pick that back up today. Looking forward to going back again when I come back this way.

Where else can you sit down to eat: 1. Inside a jail cell 2. At a bar 3. In booths covered with cowhide or 4. Outside in the sunshine on sofas? Boom boom shrimp are a must! Pulled pork tacos, large made to order guacamole is awesome! Loved it!!!

Great service here in the afternoon for early dinner. Drink was good and strong(woodford and tea) and the tacos were really good. Queso was surprisingly good as well. Had jalapeño added. Bam bam shrimp taco and crab cake taco were breaded and the sauce was a bit strong. Next time something grilled with sauce in side. Speaking of great service;even a worker who was Not working at the time, helped bartender by going and answering phones when she got busy. They were all very friendly and funny makes you feel like you’ve been hanging out there forever. Great hangout.

My food was good. I ordered the chicken, shrimp, and steak fajitas. It was a good portion size as well. The guacamole was average in my opinion. The cactus margarita was very yummy, although it taste as though it did not have alcohol, it will definitely get you to your tipsy point! We ordered a pitcher of strawberry mango margarita as well and it was stronger and made well. I like the idea of the televisions at each booth. The only thing that I didn’t l care for about the restaurant is the limited menu and the way the different drinks are presented on the menu, it can be somewhat confusing to tell what is what. Besides that I enjoyed my experience.

There’s a rooftop bar! Check it out! It was raining when my wife and I went, but the rooftop bar is huge. They do have nice lounging seating around. There weren’t a lot of people there, but still definitely worth checking out. Prior to going to the rooftop bar, we ate downstairs with the parents in law. Ordered three soft tacos and it was pretty delicious. No complaints. The white queso dip was also on point. My wife and I always look for white queso dip because it’s so hard to find in DC. My mom in law is very particular about her restaurants and she absolutely loves the place. There’s parking across the restaurant so it’s easily accessible. My wife and I normally go to this restaurant whenever we’re in town. The set up is great and the wait isn’t too bad when it’s busy. If you are waiting, there is a bar near the waiting area so you can have drinks on drinks on drinks.

So I love the vibe at twisted taco. from the staff to the drinks. The Fayetteville location is awesome to have… especially with the rooftop. It has tons of space and probably is great to for a party. They do only serve drinks and appetizers up there but honestly that is fine by me. I would have given twisted taco 3 stars but the grilled fajita wings and a la carte tacos saved them. There food just is not that good in my opinion. I will highlight my favorite items. The Grilled Fajitas Wings and tacos depending on ur flavor preference are the only ways to go. The sides and beans aren’t that great. They do have a lot of options for tortillas to go with your tacos. My other fav items would be making any of the aged tequilas into a margaritas. I really think the drinks are good. Food just is okay. But if you add queso that makes anything taste better!
