I absolutely loved this place! The servings were so large for such a good price and you could tell that they used high quality ingredients. And I love Crystal. she was so nice and made us feeling like friends and not just patrons. I really hate to hear that this place is closed.

We liked this place. we visited Yokohama soon after they opened and the hostess was delightful upon our arrival. We were offered to either be seated in a booth or at the hibachi bar. We chose a booth and were promptly sat. The menu was easy to follow and listed one tempting dish after another. Our party of three each went with a bento box. When our bento boxes were presented to us, we were impressed with the amount of food. It was lunch time, and the prices for these bento boxes were very reasonable. Everyone in our party was thoroughly satisfied with their and we left Yokohama with full bellies and happy faces.

AMAZINGSUSHI!!! I know I just screamed a little, but omg, those were good! Crystal is the sweetest, and we cannot wait to drive by this area again. If you like spicy just tell her so and she will suggest the most excellent roll you’ll ever have… wait for it… THEYINYANGDYNAMITE!!! if you’re lucky she may even cook you up some pancakes but you’ll have to help around and hang up some signs or do something helpful! ;-) Can’t wait to go back.

This is the best by far sushi place in Fayetteville. She no longer has fried sushi but that’s ok she gives huge portions and price is reasonable for the size of the rolls. I love it.

GREATFOOD. Went there for my first time. Owner is very blunt but not offensive and actually a great host. She told me to call in orders because she works solo and doesn’t want us waiting an hour and or to leave. Her portions are huge. I had her spicy tuna and salmon roll that was delicious, a crab cream cheese and avocado roll, and an eel role. These three orders fed 5 adults and we still had plenty left. She also had me try other foods she made while I was waiting.

My favorite Sushi in all of North Carolina. The portions are huge, organic, delicious. Her Spicy Salmon Girl & Caterpillar Roll are life changing! The quality of the fish is out of this world. So freakin fresh! I would highly recommend it if you are in the Hope Mills/Southern Fay area.

Best bang for your buck in Fayetteville. The sushi is fantastic and you’ll get double for your money over anywhere else in town. Also the décor is eclectic and the staff is awesome!

Serving size is HUGE! The taste is even better! I absolutely love this place. Hubby and I eat here 2 – 3 times a week. Try anything on the menu and you will not be disappointed. My favorite items to order is the Yokohama Eel Dragon roll(eel and crab), Sweet Crazy Audria Roll(fried crab, fried shrimp), and Spicy Tuna Roll. Delish!

This past Sunday during our stay in F-Ville, me and bestie wanted to get some brunch before going to Cross Creek Mall and Fort Bragg. We decided on picking Japanese while discussing close-by cuisine options from our hotel. Yokohama was our nominated choice. I forgot the names of the dishes we ordered especially since I’m having difficulty finding the restaurant’s menu online but I would definitely recommend their unagi rolls and yellowtail rolls! And try out their soup too!

I gave this restaurant a 5 Star Review because their Sushi is absolutely amazing. I’ve been here three times and never been disappointed. The sushi is fresh so don’t be in a rush to be somewhere or order ahead of time. It’s a little pricey. But it’s absolutely worth it. You get a great amount of Sushi and they’re very large. When I think of Sushi, this is the place I think of in the area that sets the standard.

The sushi is really really good. I keep it simple and order the salmon roll and a spicy tuna roll. The owner tells me that it’s small but really it’s quite filling. Prices are not bad and the service is pretty quick. I feel bad for her location but she seems to have a loyal following. If you’re in the mood for some good sushi in the area I would definitely try them out.

This place is amazing. The only downside is that it’s not great for dine in. But if you order to go, the sushi is giant and so delicious!

My husband and I had lunch here. It was alright. The restaurant was very dark and mismatched and cluttered with plants and little figurines everywhere. We were the only customers there. We had 3 rolls, which were huge! very filling! :) most rolls on the menu were doused with sauces. the fish was relatively fresh. Everything here is just alright — the atmosphere, the service, the sushi. I’ve only eaten here once, so maybe my 2nd time dining would be a better experience!

I would like to give a 4-star review because the owner tries so hard, but I just can’t. Here is the rundown: my husband and I attempted to eat here over a year ago. We walked in, looked around, browsed the menu, then quickly left. We were not impressed by the lack of greeting, atmosphere, and high prices. However, after getting recommended here a few more times, reading positive reviews, knowing what to expect, and not wanting to miss out on one of Fayetteville’s «hidden gems,» we decided to try again last night. The décor is very cluttered, with small figurines and live plants everywhere. At some point, they decided it would be okay to let people sign their names on the walls and ceiling. In an attempt to be welcoming and creative — which may have worked somewhere else — in an Army town makes you feel like you’re in the inside of a bathroom stall in the movie theater. The actual menu does not offer any soup, salad or appetizers. It does mention hibachi, but she informed me that they no longer serve hibachi — just sushi and will correct the menu soon. We were happy to see that she had made a fresh glass noodle, vegetable, and fish cake salad that she was offering in to-go containers. I have heard from others that she will often make items that are not on the menu, so you may get lucky. We did! The salad was fresh and very tasty. She said she made the noodles from sweet potatoes, and the rest of the items were organic. We bought an extra container for lunch the next day. When we explained it was our first time dining there, the only other customer in the place(a regular with his family) chimed in and praised the sushi quality and portion sizes. This happened the first time we visited also, even though that person could not convince us to stay. I think the regulars realize that most people’s expectations will not be met when coming in, so they’re doing their best to plug the restaurant when they can. As previously mentioned, the sushi prices are expensive, but we found out that is because the rolls are massive(as other reviewers have indicated), and she really values the quality of what goes into the roll. She even served our sushi with organic soy sauce and explained how she makes things with care and to ensure everything you get is fresh. Our sushi tasted fine — not the best ever, but certainly good and fresh. She mentioned some changes coming to the menu and pricing soon, so the regulars may be disappointed. Bottom line: if you choose to dine here, go in with an open mind and for the unique experience that you won’t get elsewhere, especially in this area. If your expectations are managed, you will have a decent experience and some good, fresh sushi.

Walked in the atmosphere was very calming. Not the first thought about a restaurant. Lady first stated sushi only as we walked in the door. Very small and intimate dining area. Only seats about 12 people. Thankfully we were the only ones in the restaurant. A party of 8 took about 45 mins — 1hr to get our sushi. Limited drink section(can soda/water). Prices varied from $ 5 — $ 15 for sushi. We ordered California roll and Fried Crab Roll. Was not disappointed at all. Portions were massive! Especially the fried crab roll. Really funny and inviting owner. She gave us marker to write on the walls; interesting.
