Trevose Beer and Soda

Went in with a friend from out of town to cash in his winning instant lottery ticket ($ 200 prize) and the jerk off owner gave me a hard time. First he complained that we didn’t take the winning ticket back to where it was bought to claim the prize (we did try to do that without success) and then he said that they didn’t have the funds available to pay. Finally, he reluctantly paid. The PA lottery website is very clear that you can cash in these prizes up to $ 2500 at ANY PA lottery retailer. This dude gets quite a bit of business thanks to the PA lottery. I often see a line out the door at the lottery counter. Maybe he shouldn’t have the lottery available in his store if he get his panties in a twist over paying a measly $ 200 prize. He won’t be seeing my business for beer, ice or lottery tickets again and I’ve lived in Trevose for 45 years. I’m not surprised to see other Unilocal posts on here commenting on his crappy, ungrateful, rude attitude.

The owner is rude. The selection is poor. I drive out of my way to go to another beer distributor because I refuse to give him my business. He was even rude to my grandmother, who is from out of state and unfamiliar with PA beer, wine and liquor laws. You have to give at least one star to post a review, but really, this place deserves no stars.

In Pennsylvania beer can only be purchased from a licensed distributor. These beverage stores usually sale it by the case or keg, only. Many Bars sale beer by the 6 pack, but must be licensed to do so.
I am not a beer drinker and my husband does not drink at all. I do however go into this store from time to time to purchase my lottery.
They also sell snacks and soda. Always closed on Sunday, which is the state law.
They are family owned and are very friendly folks, who are more than willing, with helping to load customers purchases. They have a great repeat business as I see many familiar faces, when I contribute my money to the Pa. State Lottery.
