Went online to set up a flu shot appointment for later that day. They sent me a CONFIRMING EMAIL and when I went in a couple hours later, they told me they ran out of flu shots the day before and would not get more until the following week. They still had a big sign in their window, «FLU SHOTS TODAY.» Why did they send me a confirming email for an appointment time if they did not have what I was coming in for and knew they would not have it until the following week? Very poorly managed pharmacy. I would not want them filling an important prescription. Will not go back to this Walgreens. I went to CVS right down the street — CVS pharmacy was well run, professional, and they will get all of my business, and the friends I talk to about this, in the future.

Just a regular Walgreens, nothing too exciting. They offer your usual pharmacy things as well as photo services and some food items. The location is convenient too.

I used to get our prescriptions filled at the local Acme Savon, which was convenient while I did some grocery shopping. My hubby, who has been hospitalized many times, since the year 2000, has been handed some temporary prescriptions that Acme could not fill.
They were then kind enough to call the CVS across the street and most of the time they did not have it either. This then became a lot of calling and running around to see if the prescriptions could be filled.
A few years ago this Walgreens opened up and each time they had the prescription. They also have a drive thru window, which is convenient, especially when you just need that one thing.
However Walgreens has so much more! I could spend a good hour in here or more and a lot of money, but still be saving at the same time. They have wonderful bargains and so much more than what you would find in your typical drug store.
Until recently, we were having our ink cartridges refilled here for $ 12.99 which is not a bad price, but I have found a few places since then where I can buy new cartridges for not much more and they last so much longer.
You can go right online to print coupons and to view their weekly circular. Anything that you do see online, if this store does not have it in their stock, they will order it for you.
This is one of the larger Walgreens that I have been in, you could fit at least four CVS inside. Right now they are running back to school supplies, but anything from household needs to baby needs, toys, cleaners, cosmetics, small gardening supplies, office supplies, hardware, pet supplies and so much more.
This one is conveniently located at a major intersection and has its own large parking lot. Very friendly, helpful and caring service.
Any battery that you could possibly need, unless it is a car battery silly. If you haven’t checked out Walgreens, do yourself a favor and give them a visit real soon.
Oh and remember what a pain it used to be to get a passport picture, it is a done deal here! Don’t forget, if it is online it can be ordered and delivered to the store. Nice!
