Great place. He is honest. We had our car checked for a road trip to California we planned for December. Greg informed me what we need to get the car up to par at a great price and quickly. I called my family as soon as we got home and recommended him.

Why in the world would I drive about 45 minutes each way to come to Brad’s after moving? Simply, Brad is too honest, and his work is too good to even think of looking closer to my new home.
My previous boss recommended him, and as with many other things, she was spot-​on. Brad is quirky, and is very straightforward, which could be off-​putting but for the fact that he truly cares about his customers. My extended family now all come to Brad, and he never does work that isn’t needed, or overcharges for labor or parts.
I may not know much about cars, but that’s okay– I trust my mechanic.

Like the review below, I also bring my car all the way from West Seattle just for an oil change.
Over the years my father has brought 5 or 6 cars to Brad, and his service has always been affordable. But even more importantly, Brad is honest. He recently looked at my girlfriend’s car and informed us that it wouldn’t be worth fixing because replacing even one part would exceed the value of her car. I don’t know many mechanics who are THAT honest.
Hands down the best mechanic in Federal Way. If you want an honest opinion, quick service, and affordability, there is only one option.

If you live anywhere near Federal Way and you are going anywhere else you are doing it wrong. I’ve taken +6 cars to brad at this point, my personal rigs and roommates cars there to get a idea of what was wrong, and multiple times brad has done the diagnosis for free.
He’s very fair and willing to work with you on billing. His prices are very reasonable and he does good quality work. 10⁄10 take your car here every time. Small local business for the win.

Brads Auto Mechanic is the best mechanic ever I love the fact he is genuine, honest and hardworking. I will never let any other mechanic work on my car. His prices are very reasonable I highly recommend this shop for ant repairs.

It’s hard to find a good mechanic, even harder to find a GREAT one like Brad. He is knowledgeable and has fair prices. Since moving from Federal Way, I now drive from West Seattle to get my oil changes, etc from him.
