Ernie’s Federal Way Truck Stop

Went in to take a shower and it was empty and I was told showers are only for truckers. So my buying gas from this station and paying for a shower isnt good enough. What a lousy business. Is this even legal? I can see limiting the time but refusing to let one person not pay for something that another person can pay for? Pretty crappy business practice if
ask me.

I never thought I’d be such a fan of a truck stop!
I’ve never stepped foot ‘inside’ the station so I can’t speak to what they offer at the convenience store or cleanliness.
But I can speak to the deals you get at the pump!
Not only is it the cheapest gas in town (especially cheaper than Arco and it’s a 76 gas station!) but they now offer a free small coffee or fountain drink with a fill-​up. Bonus!
In addition to the best prices in town, if you pay cash, you get an additional $ 0.10 off a gallon.
What are you waiting for? Go go go!

This is my go to place for fuel when I’m in the area. It’s a quiet little truck stop a bit out of the way but easy enough to get to from the freeway. The gals working the place are great!
They have a small lot for a few trucks to park for a short time and have signs up saying «Ask us about our 24 Hour Parking». They have a free truck scale as well.
They recently remodeled the inside. There’s plenty of room to sit and do paperwork or have a snack and a cup of coffee. They have a couple showers and a couple restrooms. They sold some pretty tasty hot food for awhile but have given it up for the time being — their sassy chicken sandwich with chipotle mayo was absolutely fantastic. They have plenty of cold food choices for the time being, and of course a microwave.
The location is pretty darn good if you want to get some stuff done while in the area. There’s a Grocery Outlet next door and a US Post Office next door to that. Walmart is close by to the south and the mall is about a mile or so up to the north with plenty of food establishments in between.
And as an fyi — this is the fuel stop for the Federal Way Police. I have been given my annual inspection here in the last year. I had been getting ready to pull in and their DOT Officer put on his lights. When I parked he said I was due for my inspection. He was super friendly — one of my best inspections yet.
