This is a really cool place. I like the eating area. This would be a great place to take a date. The food is really good too! Everything about this place is great, except the price. Very expensive. I just wish the price was less.

Love love love Fatburger, drove about 45 min and planned a trip to Tacoma just to go to this place and wasn’t disappointed. Actually the nicest Fatburger location I’ve been to. Note for people ordering the veggie burger: the one here is more of a «garden burger» unlike the soy-based Boca burger you may be used to at Fatburgers in other states.

Medium size burger was perfect for a hungry but not quite starving person. Friendly staff and good customer service. My only con is that everything is a la carte but that doesn’t keep me from going back.

Awesome customer service. Great quality and food. The ranch is good but I wish they didn’t charge for sauce. Tea is also good. My burger was slightly dry but my friends was perfect and juicy. The customer service and friendless really made up for it. My burger was still great. I had the bbq burger.

The burger currently on their website menu(rancheros burger) is what i came for. When i got there they stated they no longer carry it even though its on their menu. Their fries were overcooked and they apparently dont season their fries at all. Not even a pinch of salt. At least thats how mine were. They charged me $ 16 for a meal and on their receipt they ask for a tip, even though they offer no service. They call your name and you have to go to the counter and pickup your order and you have to pour your own drink. I don’t mind doing that, but why are they asking for tips??? My burger was poorly made. The meat is thin and had crusted grease along the outsides. Synopsis: Overpriced, low quality, not up-to-date on their menu. Employees were friendly though.

Ordered three things. All three were wrong. How do you screw up something that you literally order down a list?

I was expecting maybe too much from fat burger. Unfortunately they didn’t deliver. Their burger was avarerage. I was expecting a moist burger, but in return I got a dry burger with plain fries. Not even ketchup could fill the void for the taste i was hoping for. I could barely taste the beef, as every bite I took was overwhelmed by the taste of too much lettuce. Definitely would not recommend fat burger unless you really want a hamburger and there are no hamburger places around for miles.

Good but expensive. Like. Yikes. It’s not so bad if it’s you and one other person but when you have kids and your paying for 5. It’s gets pricey lol. But really good

This is one of the better Fatburger places. I have been to 3 – 4 of them and I have to say this place kind of has it down. I got a Fatburger, Fat fries and drink. The burger was to my liking and the fries were those fat steak style fries. It was pretty good!

By far, the absolute best burger that I’ve eaten to date! I’m a huge Fast and Furious fan and my cousin and I were working in Long Beach, CA a few months after the first movie came out on DVD. Coincidentally, we were actually working in the same exact oil refinery that they filmed the opening sequence of the movie next to. If that wasn’t cool enough, whenever possible, I like to use my free time to sight see movie filming locations. I fired up the DVD and even though Fat Burger wasn’t a filming location, it was mentioned in the movie so we set out to find one and give it a try. I was in love so you can imagine my excitement when Fat Burger was built right here in Federal Way so close to home. I couldn’t get enough and I still like to visit fairly often. I’ve had a ton of burgers and I can honestly say that Fat Burger is my all time favorite. Fat fries or skinny fries, it doesn’t matter but I always have to get some homemade onion rings too. I was a little surprised at the prices. Especially after the line in the movie made it seem like the food was quite inexpensive(Vince — «YO! Try Fat Burger from now on, you’ll get yourself a double cheese with fries for $ 2.95 faggot»!) Well, I’ve been to Fat Burger many times and I can tell you that I’ve never seen a double cheeseburger for $ 2.95 ever. I gotta say that the atmosphere of the So-cal locations was a lot better than what we have up here in Washington. They still have that 50’s diner feel to them but in a modern way that doesn’t quite fit. The California locations also had real jukeboxes that only played vintage music. It gave the place an air of authenticity. Our local Fat Burger has a new digital jukebox that allows patrons to play anything they want considering they are willing to pay $ 0.50 per song but it takes away from the experience when you’re trying to enjoy a meal with your family eating a burger, drinking a shake and listening to Eminem. Another item that I can’t get enough of is their lemonade. I could drink barrels of it. If they bottled it up and sold it, I would buy it like crazy. Not sure what it is but I love that stuff. So let’s see. The best never frozen hand pounded burgers I’ve ever eaten with fresh toppings and quality ingredients. The best onion rings I’ve ever eaten in my entire life and the best lemonade I’ve found too. If it weren’t for the high prices, I’d be there every week! Maybe they could take a queue from places that have lower prices and do more volume. Either way, I’ll keep going back whenever I have a little extra to spend and if anyone asks me where to get a good burger you can bet that I’ll be directing them to Fat Burger. Thanks for reading.

I don’t know if there is a consistency problem. First two times I went, burgers were great. This time they were dry and not that tasty.

Certainly not all I expected it to be. Sad. I mean it was a decent burger, but I thought Fatburger was supposed to be «all that»…

Everyone loves a good burger. The burger was so good and smooth with all the fixings. They have a avocado sauce that is so tasty, my only complaint is the bun wasn’t toasted enough but that a half pound large hit the spot.

We decided to visit Fatburger on our way north and could not have expected what happened. My 12 year old NEVER finishes anything we feed her, even if it is her favorite food. We get there and both my girls loved that they could pick the size and toppings for their burger. My 12 year old and I both got the small burger and fat fries, 14 year old got the medium with fat fries, we got onion rings, boyfriend got the a spicy chicken bacon ranch sandwich. I could not have been happier to see my daughter eat the entire burger, ½ of her milkshake, 5 fries, and one onion ring. We were all very happy with our meals and will be returning. The young man who took our order was very patient with us, seeing how we had never been there before so ordering took a little longer on my part. The young lady that brought out food to the table was very pleasant. I have read many reviews that claim the food is pricey, I could not disagree more. I felt that we got our money worth and then some. I do agree that the ketchup station is not appealing to look at and the dispenser needs to be replaced, the spout where the ketchup comes out is broken and the towel under it does not make me feel like the station is clean at all. Don’t get me wrong, it was not dirty, but anytime I see a bar towel or kitchen towel out, it makes you think of stale smelly towels. No good. Hours after our visit we were still talking about how good those onion rings were and how happy we were that my little one actually ate an entire meal. Lastly, the music was perfect for the environment. I liked that I did not have to worry about my daughters hearing some of the more modern, and completely not age appropriate music you hear on some radio stations.

I’ve heard of Fatburger for some time and finally had an opportunity to go when driving back to Portland from NW Washington. The burger definitely lives up to it’s name — it was a fat one. I went in wanting the small burger & skinny fries. I wasn’t that hungry as I had eaten a pretty healthy breakfast, but the California burger caught my eye since I was thinking about adding guac and/or bacon to my burger anyway. My mistake was saying yes when the cashier asked if I wanted lettuce, tomato & mayo on the burger. I didn’t need all that on top of the guac & bacon. Oh well; my bad! The medium sized burger was just as I thought — a little too much. But what I ate was tasty and the bun held up nicely. The skinny fries were tasty. It provides a nice alternative, however, I think I’ll be sticking to In-N-Out when I’m in Southern California.

One less star because the sauces at the table had dust. In addition, the place where the ketchup is located, just didn’t look right sitting on top of a blue utility cart. Strange but ok. As far as the food, I had a blue cheese burger, it was pretty dilish. My hubs ordered a regular large all American. He enjoyed his as well. As far as the fries, we both ordered the skinny fries, and they too were good. Crispy, and not floppy. Price wise, I thought this place was pretty pricey but the quality of the burger makes up for it. Perhaps instead of one $, it should have $$. All in all. Maybe my second visit won’t have dust on bottles.

Very much love eating burgers here, wish they would open a restaurant in Puyallup! I always get the fat fries here, but my wife likes the skinny fries better. They just have the old type Coke machine, but do offer beer and shakes here so since I dont care much for any of the Coke products that are in the old type machines, I generally either get a beer or a milkshake. The service here always have been real good, so cant complain about that, however the prices here are a little higher is pretty much my only complaint.

Diggin the Frings(fries/onion ring combo)! Fatburger is a good place to eat and I tend to forget there is one in Federal Way. I opted for the half pound burger with frings, left no prisoners, but did sustain some injuries. Nothing too crazy though, just the usual waddling away super full and lethargic action. We showed up around 1PM on a Saturday and we must of lucked out cuz the place was dead, but then right after we got our food it started to pick up and more people started to come in so it eventually did get packed. It is pricey here which is my only real gripe, but I do like to come here. It switches it up from the usual burger/fries outfits around our region.
